We come here whenever we are on the island, and the food is excellent. The service is always great, and we love the indoor play area and silent cinema - great for the kids. Will definitely be back again.

Very nice meals, good friendly staff, nice environment,

Arrived, and although not busy and they stopped serving food in around 40 minutes, we were asked if we had booked and then made to feel they were doing us a favour by giving us a table. Guy with coloured hair was totally disinterested, and barely said a word too us. Bar staff more interested in serving locals first and chatting, but I'm giving it 3 stars as the food was good. Wouldn't go back though

Very very good service, really enjoyed my time there and a nice meal. I only dropped a star because the table was sticky ( the barman wiped it for me when I mentioned it, but not with detergent, just sanitiser!) and the corn on the cob looked very sad.

Great place for family. Lovely food And had ample space outside and play area for kids from toddler to grown up children aswell as a small soft play indoors suitable for baby to really young children. Would definitely recommend

Lovely pub. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Great value Amazing fish pie of the specials board. Good size beer garden with some play equipment for kids a pool table and mini arcade. It gets pretty busy but not surprised. Would of got 5 stars can't give half stars either. but I only got 1 waffle with my desert rather than the stated 2 in the desert description.

Fantastic evening, greeted by a smiley, bubbly waitress. Thank you to Reece who explained to myself and my family about the new App, saving us money on our meals. Our food was delicious. By far the nicest meal we have had at caulk heads, so compliments to the chef. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Arrived early for a beer, decided to stay for a meal, table arranged with no problem.Gammon and chips plus a pie and chips, good size portions and tasty. Both members of staff were pleasant and helpful.

Only booked a table here for the facilities for children that has a soft play area and play equipment outside in the garden. Then the options for gluten free diet was really good, plenty of options for everyone and a lovely atmosphere.Staff were really polite and professional with service with a smile.Definitely will consider returning when next on the Isle of Wight.

Went for Sunday roast. Beef, potatoes and Yorkshire pudding was nice. Veg was not nice. Don’t bother with the go large, which is advertised as extra roasties and yorkies but is only one extra of each. Kids ice cream isn’t in cones but a plastic bowl and the only topping on offer was marshmallows and various sauces. Service is non existent (waiting almost 40 mins for plates to be taken and desert brought after 3 reminders) Outside garden has enough to keep kids amused for a while.
