Had a lovely roast dinner. Lots of Fresh veg. Good value for money. Very polite and friendly staff.

Wanted to have a Sunday lunch, my husband pulled up in layby outside and I went in to ask a lady where we could park, went back outside to tell my husband where to park then stood in queue for five minutes just to be told we couldn't have a table and when I said I'd been in and my husband was parking I was told quite abruptly that there is no table after payingfor parking !We ended up over the road an really glad we did as the food was amazing and every couple of minutes a customer went in over the road so it seems if you're local you can get a seat if not your not as welcome

Small venue but the food is generally good, reasonably priced with a fair selection. Could use a few more vegetarian/vegan options though. The toilet was very clean too. Nice to sit outside when the weather is good. The front line staff when I visited could be a little more welcoming, felt a little uncomfortable at first but he warmed toward the end. Will definitely visit again soon (if I'm let back in after this review). Recommended for old style English grub.

Sausages were not the best but the rest was fine. Company was better tho.

Mixed review as partner liked his chilli but not so me with the burger. After getting 3rd bit of gristle, and wondering how a butcher could supply such a poor product (as advertised), I left the rest. Chips were frozen product but cooked well and enjoyed. Nice drinks. OK service.

Everytime I come here it's absolutely lovely, the breakfasts are AMAZING, and the staff are very FRIENDLY, would definitely recommend
