Fantastic family friendly pub, nice little play area for the little ones out the back and a little football pitch aswell with goals and nets. Didnt walk the maze due to the ground being a little muddy but will on our return. Food was amazing and will certainly return. I can certainly Recommend the ribs and the cheesecake

I took my daughter for lunch here. Lovely quick service, polite staff. Food was delicious and huge portions. The garden looked much tidier and better than a visit a few years ago. Definitely improved

Old Inn situated on the edge of the village. Plenty of parking available opposite in car park. A few spaces are available at the side of the Inn. Low ceilings, large bar, lots of green space outside with a maze and play area for the children. Enjoyed our food very much. Staff friendly.

The Griffin food is very nice and plenty of it, although there food hygiene ratings is also very good the Griffin is in drastic need of refurbishment of there chairs as they make the eating area look very dirty and unhygienic! The disability toilet is also in need of some refurbishment as there is no facility to hang a coat or bag, also the hand dryer doesn't stay on long enough to dry your hands!

A very warm welcome at this traditional village pub. Good range of drinks at the bar and a good food menu too. Staff were friendly and were happy to allow us to simply sit and drink without needing to eat as well. Will definitely return to try the food menu too!

Excellent cooked food with two menu, one to eat in and the second to eat outdoors in their large garden.Toilets are small in size and disabled toilet not built with gaining entrance access.Apart from this I would recommend a visit.

Food was good pub grub at a reasonable price but portions were ridiculously big leaving me bloated and uncomfortable. Would have liked to see smaller portions that left room for dessert. Pub is very family centred and a little noisy with children (one large booking in particular) which is why I have dropped a star. Photo is of the choc cake off the children's menu.

Fantastic place for food! Very accommodating with larger groups or couples. Good and quick service considering quite busy. Play area for kids and the classic maze at the back of the garden. Parking was a problem when really busy.

food was fine: we had one beef burger and one vegetarian burger, both ok (3*). apple crumble was very good (4*). covid-19 protection measures ridiculously absent: ordes taken at the counter, with crowds of customers queueing and socialising there, at the expense of those having their tables next to it. nobody wearing masks, no one way system for patrons. felt on the edge from the moment we were seated to the time we left. afraid this is a no-go at present times
