Awful service! Came in and sat down for 30 minutes, asked if a waiter was going to take our order and the young lady just looked at me and my friend and just gave us a dirty look, will not be coming back awful service! We also wasn't the only table that had the same problem!

Cafe/Restaurant of choice whenever we are in Seaford. Lovely ambience with tasteful interior. Staff always very friendly and helpful (especially Natalie) and nothing is too much trouble. Food is delicious and freshly madeDefinitely worth a visit!

Breakfast this morning celebrating 3 birthdays (within days of each other). Super breakfasts, nothing was too much trouble. First class attentive staff even though very busy. Made for a great start to our day. I fancied a round of Bucks fizz to start our breakfast but not on the drinks menu, is it something to add or should I have asked? Great place to eat in the Town centre. Looking forward to trying the Grumpy fish. Well done guys.

Nice food and friendly service. Quite small inside but not a problem. Crab linguine was nice but few bits of shell in there (!).

I had a delicious brunch here. I ordered the pancakes with streaky bacon, with 2 extra pieces of bacon, 2 sausages, and 2 eggs. I also had a small latte to drink. It was all very tasty and it was perfect for brunch. The only slight complaint I would have is that the service was fairly slow, but we weren't in a rush at all so this was no issue.

So unassuming on the outside, this place is just wonderful. Very welcoming when we turned up without a booking with our 5 month old baby at 5pm on Tuesday afternoon for an early dinner. Service was honestly the best we’ve had in a long time. Food and the local wine was really good too. Such a shame we live an hour away or we’d be regulars.

Absolutely perfect! I would say one of the best culinary experiences we had by far. From the top mark customer service and hospitality skills to fresh, tasty and homemade food. The food which is absolutely delicious. We have visited The Grumpy Chef two times once during breakfast and once during lunch time. This place is always vibrant and full of life with many costumers but the staff have managed to accommodate us. If you have to wait a few moments for a table don’t hesitate- it’s definitely worth it. We will definitely come back especially to try their dinner menu as it’s open on Fridays and Saturday until 11 pm.
