Great little Café.Good food , silly prices really worth a visit

Lived just around the corner my whole life and never visited. Wish I had known sooner! Came here with my dad for two small breakfasts and two coffees. Lovely service, amazing prices and a proper English breakfast. Highly recommend!

Excellent Sunday roasts (followed in our case by excellent Apple crumble with jugs of custard, excellent fry-ups, extensive menu, friendly staff and brilliant value. A proper old-style cafe.

Visited today on the spur of the moment.Recieved a lovely greeting. My variation on the standard big breakfast was accepted without any queries.Food arrived very promptly, was piping hot and very filling.Well done and thank you.

Breakfast was ok, sausage & egg needed more cooking. No dairy alternatives soya or oat milk so had to have black coffee.Could do with a clean, lots black old cobwebs.Nice friendly staff though....

Lovely, old fashioned, cheap, unpretentious British cafe tucked away in an interesting little side street near a very good car wash, pub, fish and chip takeaway, newsagents, convenience store, and antique shop. Ryde beach is a few minutes walk away.The food's good (much of it homemade) with decent portions, the service very friendly, the toilets are clean , the wifi and papers are free. Been going to this place since the 1970s since my children were small. Glad it survived the pandemic. Like the island itself, it's a welcoming timewarp . ❤
