Nice freshly cooked fish and chip with friendly service. My only comment is that I didn't like the bags food was put in as fish and chips were sweaty by the time we got to where we was staying which was under 10 minutes away before dished up on the plates

Where do I start. The cod wasn't as happy as the haddock. Meagre portions in a paper bag as evidenced by the pictures. The vegetarian burger was a disgrace (see pics). An oversized dry bun with no salad, relish, sauce, butter..just an overcooked burger! Standard chip portions are very small. All in all, a very disappointing visit sadly and all issues are easily resolved by a little more care.

We usually go to the Sandown branch, but due to the road closures, couldn't park, so drove to Shanklin. The food quality was still very good, however, the portions were tiny!! There was no discernible difference between regular and large chips, and the regular portion was about half the size it is in Sandown for the same price. Unfortunately this makes it poor value for money, so we won't be back. We'll go to Sandown in the future.

Buy for exactly how many of you eating as portions are what you get. We normally share a portion of chips between the two of us and order two cod. We could not share this portion size as really small, and very small fish as well. Tasted lovely what there was of it though.

We picked an order for 18 fish and chips today for a club meeting. Everybody gave them 5stars they were so lovely. Thank you to all the staff from Inner Wheel Ventnor.

What can I say but wow. The best tasting Scampi I have ever had. And very big portions. Service with a smile really does go a long well. Well done guys and girls. I'll be back for fish soon

Chose to get our food here based on the reviews. Fish was really tasty (actually tasted like fish and was really 'meaty' if that makes sense?!) chips were really good.Slightly odd that we had bags to eat from which made it a bit tricky to eat on the promenade but we quickly got used to it. Curry sauce wasn't great, bit watery and not much flavour but don't let that put you off buying your food here.Had to wait a while but that's cos there were so many people buying food (again testament to the fact they make good food) and the staff were really friendly.

Best fish and chips since moving to the island. Great fresh 8oz cheeseburger with gerkins, and a wonderful Irish curry sauce with the chips. Worth visiting albeit had to wait because of the covid queue but worth it. Lovely.😊

Lovely fish & chips, so fresh. All orders cooked freshly to order. Popular with the locals. Special deals for the over 60's. Separate coeliac menu if you give 30 mins notice. Eat in or take away. Chips cooked the traditional way in Beef Dripping. See copy menus. We all enjoyed our meals.
