Bourne Hall was a lovely hotel comfortable rooms, beds, shower, fantastic cooked breakfast. Views from the hotel were amazing. Sarah the waitress was friendly and very helpful and the reception staff. Would I stay again without hesitation yes. Didn't want to leave. Our favourite place to stay in Shanklin. Reasonable prices too. Thanks again Nicolette Paul and Oliver.

Friendly helpful staff. I came in with soaking wet feet and one lovely lady went to find me some slippers. Room had a lovely view but a bit noisy from the room above. Would happily stay again.

Food is just gorgeous. Good hearty breakfast and a lovely varied evening menu. Shame the room is basic, but our view from the window is stunning.

Fantastic staff. Comfortable room. Great food. Couldn't ask for anything more for our holiday.

Amazing hotel with the friendliest staff ever. Rooms are incredibly clean and with that cozy feeling to make you feel at home away from home. It’s located kind of at the end of a hill, but personally for me, that’s a great workout. Weather wasn’t very good in Shanklin for our stay so we couldn’t really use the outdoor pool. Thank God that there was an indoor one. Really didn’t miss a day to go for a swim. Breakfast is from 8am to 10am, and let me tell you, probably the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. Would love to visit the area again, and stay at this lovely place. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

What a fantastic family run hotel. Nothing too much trouble even providing sandwiches for my husband who was not feeling too well kn one of the days we were there. Food absolutely lovely and as long as you were not in a rush at meal times as service was not slow but calmly carried out taking a few minutes longer. Bedrooms were well fitted out and ours e en had a four poster bed. Lovely.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, decent rooms, within walking distance from Shanklin. A bit dull bar, dirty swimming pool and it's direct surroundings and each day the room cleaners made a mess in the hallways leaving dirty sheets, towels piled up in the corridors for hours. No possibly to dine in the hotel but as said , town is nearby. Breakfast is good. A little more attention to the cleaning activities would help. Swimming pool area really needs a refreshing update to get rid of filthy appearance

Stayed here for just one night. Great location. Dated rooms and the floors creak so much that I didn't get much sleep. Sauna not working and pool table unavailable. Not many staff and had to wait ages to be served for breakfast. Hotel was empty apart from a few guests so got the pool to ourselves but it was freezing outside and you have to walk quite a distance outside back to the hotel which isn't ideal.

Beautiful classical old building , the staff were really friendly and helpful, great food. However the maintenance of the hotel was very poor especially the leisure area , uncleaned and dusty quite a disappointment. Rooms were nice and well equipmented, bathrooms were clean and basic. Room was slightly dusty and stains on the ceiling, door had a bit of a gap in so could see out slightly. Apart from that it was relaxing, nice stay.
