The Ocean Deck Bar & Restaurant in Isle of Wight

Had the most delicious seafood linguine I've ever had.... So much so, I begged for the recipe for the shellfish bisque! Fantastic food, fantastic staff and Great Aunt Iris really enjoyed her Beer battered cod with chips and peas..... Huuuuuge portion of fresh moist fish!Thank you Ocean Deck!!!!!!

Great food, had the fish pie and the grilled vegetables as a starter, both were really tasty, great portions as well.

1st beach bar we visited when we reached the Island.Holds fabulous memories for us and time has not diminished its appeal.Took the new train to Sandown and spent the afternoon sitting in the sun enjoying some cold beers.It doesn't get any better than this.

Not bad, not great. Does what it says on the tin, food was tasty but it felt a bit underwhelming. A plate of calamari only has 3 rings, where you'd think increase the price and make it half decent, or offer half portion for sharing starters?A fish pie which was tasty, but heavy on the potato, light on the seasoning, and served with a salad (perfect) and 2 slices of dry garlic bread (why?).Service was friendly for sure, but felt distant with table mounted call buttons.Interior decor was very sparse and unatmospheric. It needed extra touches like candles, plants, things like that.With a bit more effort and focus, this place will be 4 stars. Almost there.

Popped in for a quick lunch with a friend, we had the fish pie and sausages with mash, we really enjoyed it. Service was also good, we was served by the manager and he was friendly and attentive. Only thing was they didn’t have the drinks we wanted, but there was plenty of other options and drinks we’d like so this wasn’t an issue. Lovely location as well, and the restaurant seemed very clean and tidy.

We had the jacket potato and the Mediterranean veg with houmous. Both are very delicious. The vegs are flavoursome, accompanied by houmous and crusty bread.

Nice place, friendly staff, good quality food, nice portion sizes,going back again.

The service here was efficient and the system was easy to use. You press the call button and someone would come fairly quickly. We ordered the fish pie, beef burger, salt and pepper squid and sticky toffee pudding. All tasted great especially the squid which was very fresh. The toffee pudding tasted soft and light. Burger patty was juicy.

Went for lunch with our daughter and son-in-law.Sat inside as weather was a bit iffy..greeted by lovely front of house staff ..food was delicious and enjoyed by all. Would definitely return and as island residents we certainly will.

Excellent service, delicious linguini, place dogs and smokers friendly.It's nice atmosphere with tables outside with sea view! Definitely recommending this place!
