The Spinnaker in Isle of Wight

A group of 5 of us went, several with food allergies. Our waiter was wonderful, he knew the menu, was good fun (and patient!) and an absolute credit to the hotel. Food was exceptionally tasty, lamb and pork melted in the mouth, one of the best risottos I have ever had. Thanks to the chef for adjusting the dishes to suit allergies. Will definitely go back again when in Bembridge.

A spontaneous evening out tonight, my friend and I hadnt booked a table but, the staff were wonderfully accommodating, and sorted out a table for us.Food and customer service was excellent. 💚

Excellent food, fresh local produce. Reasonably priced, beautifully presented and a great selection of specials. Grateful appreciation to the chef.

Stayed here for a four day break and were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly, the cleaning staff were amazing the room felt first day arrival everyday. The choice of breakfasts were first class (The scrambled eggs with smoked salmon were the best) The food at night was certainly on par (Risotto was seasoned well and tasted amazing I wanted a second !). Attended to our choice of sharing a cheese board for dessert and throughout our sty nothing was too muchThe location was great too, very quiet and very relaxing.No way a criticism but after a long day out walking those second set of stairs are killers. Hahaha.Thank you for a wonderful time we would not hesitate in coming back

Positive:Party of three, went for the carvary after hearing good things. We thoroughly enjoyed the roast as well as the puddings & the staff were super friendly.Negative:I was driving back to the mainland later so couldn't drink more local beer!

The family room was really cosy, clean and comfortable and the staff were brilliant. We had originally booked elsewhere for an extra, unexpected night on the island after Storm Eunice struck and meant we couldn't get back to the mainland, but that hotel lost power and the Birdham swooped in and saved the day!

Just loved what was the Spinnaker. So nice to sit down in the bar area before the meal and be presented with the menu to browse beforehand. A smallish menu but enough choice for the simpler palate and a few choices for the slightly more adventurous. The risotto starter with some pickled mushrooms was new and tasty for me with a wonderful main course of the partridge and even a dessert after as the portions were bang on. Polite friendly engaging service from the staff. Looking forward to our next visit.
