The Vine Inn in Isle of Wight

Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at their latest beer festival. Fantastic eclectic range of beers from local breweries & the mainland. The landlord knows his beers & it is an obvious passion of his. All beers were in a superb condition in a lovely garden, both open air seating & outside covered. The menu looked amazing, with fresh fish dishes being prominent. A large carpark provides plenty of parking. Over the road is a campsite. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Solid pub grub, slightly overpriced in my opinion. Pub is a bit plain and lacking in atmosphere. I have the usual complaint about packet culture that I make all the time - if I ask for condiments, I do not want a teaspoon of it in an individual packet and then have to beg for more throughout the meal! And so wasteful.

Had a meal there on Friday and the food was excellent realy tasty service great very quick and would definitely use again when next in freshwater and recommend to friends visiting.My only recommendation is we passed a couple of times but thought it was just a coffee shop so didn’t stop so maybe advertise better outside

Very welcoming, generous portion size & very tasty. Inside & Outside seating. Dog friendly will be back again.

Dog friendly local pub! Amazing service. Great food, went straight to the specials board for the homemade chicken and chorizo pie. Definitely one to try.

The best meal so far this one will set the standard , dog friendly lovely atmosphere with fantastic home cooked meals with friendly staff this pub is definitely worth a visit

Nice pub that is slightly off the beaten track, but we managed to get served food without booking even though there were 10 of us. Did is generous on size

Wonderful place to eat or have a drink, I'm told it's improved massively recently. Definitely worth a visit and has lovely, attentive staff and fabulous food and cocktails.

Lovely friendly pub in Freshwater. Great beer garden that catches the sun too which is perfect for enjoying a pint. The food is very good with a selection of burgers and also daily specials plus puddings. I think they open from 2pm Wed - Sun. Definitely recommend a visit, overall an excellent pub.

Great service with friendly & professional staff scrumptious food and tasty beer, all served in a nice garden. Pub Safe, with all measures taken which makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. Bicycle friendly as well.
