"Waterfront Inn is a seaside cocktail bar & beach facing restaurant, well recognised for is fish & chips (all time best seller in our restaurant) fresh seafood, made to order pizza as well as it's numerous vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. It is also a family-run Guest House with 7 bedrooms, all en-suite, 4 of which have seaviews and all offer bed and breakfast. We welcome dogs, and pets in general, throughout the hotel. Charles Darwin, the author of The Origin of Species, the book on evolution which changed how many of us think about ourselves, stayed at the Waterfront Inn in 1858 when the property was known as the Norfolk House Hotel."

Wonderful hotel, set right on the beach, with amazingly friendly and efficient staff. Great food and atmosphere. Happy Hour Cocktails 🍹a must whilst watching the sunset over the sea. The young staff are a credit to management. They made our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommended

Staff were very good, food was good but just stopped short of getting the 5th star.Excellent view over the channel, great for a summers day!

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at the Waterfront. The breakfast and service was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a stunning position with beautiful views of the beach. We found the hotel to be extremely dog friendly. We will definitely return.

Well looked after by the staff. Two fresh meals 😋 and the sausages for the dogs was well presented. When ever we visit the Isle of Wight we always eat here because of the service. Friday was our first day this year. Thank you

My son, daughter in law and I stayed at the Waterfront Inn from Saturday until Tuesday. The location is excellent, right on the sea front. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. I had a single room and my son and his wife had a double room. The accommodation, though basic, was spotlessly clean. We did not eat at the restaurant so cannot comment on that.

Great Place to Eat if you have Allergies. Was very impressed with the way they went through the menu asking if there was anything I fancied and then walking though the whole cooking of it. Large amount of food and so yummy. Will definitely be back.

We were here for lunch on 17 February. The food was disappointing. Dry hard crust to the Steak and Ale pie overcooked vegetables. The Gammon Steak had an unpleasant flavour and smell, easily the worst I have ever had. We are local residents who came to lunch for our Anniversary. As already said we were disappointed in the food. There is a lot of competition out there so we will be trying somewhere else in the future

Great place to stay, brilliant view and listening to the waves at night and the morning tremendous. The restaurant downstairs was fabulous as were the cocktails. Massive thank you to all the team for a wonderful 5 night stay, thumbs up to the chef.

6 of us & a dog, sat outside, hot choc, efficient dog-friendly staff, bowls of water for dogs on covered terrace, wall heaters, sea view. All good. We didn't eat there so can't comment; what sailed past us on plates looked & smelled good. Sad lack 9f nibbles/cakes.
