The Wheatsheaf in Isle of Wight

The pork belly was outstanding, along with the service. The best restaurant in Yarmouth and we have eaten out at all of them journey our 10 day stay here.

Great backstreet pub ...very trendy with regards to decor...courtyard rear garden...beer connoisseur/aficionado mecca...with ales & craft + all the usual suspects & the menu is to soak up excess...didn't eathence 4*

We really enjoyed the fact that they have tried to put interesting beers on the menu. We settled on a craft stout that was excellent. Thanks for the beer.

Seriously one of the best pubs on the island. Nice selection of cask beers and similar with keg beers. Knowledgeable staff, clean tidy and friendly.

Staff were great, friendly and welcoming. The service was just the right speed for dining. Highly recommend the slow roasted belly pork. Succulent, full of flavour, the gravy was superb, properly reduced for a rich flavour and the presentation was beautiful. (Would have liked more stem veg but that's because I am veg greedy 😊). Will definitely visit again.
