The White Horse Inn in Isle of Wight

Great old pub sadly catering for food, food food.Very few places to sit and relax for a drink and a chat, everywhere is set up for food food food.The real ale though was good and you had a choice.Hard to get a smile from the 'barmaids'

The food was fine - it's not a gastro pub, but it's good, solid pub food that was perfectly nice. Unfortunately, it took over forty minutes to arrive, which, considering we were literally the only people there, on a random Thursday afternoon in term time, seemed excessive. We were very hungry, and a bit grumpy by the time it came.

Popped to the white horse for a meal. Amazing service and food. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the gravy /mayo sauce was the best I've ever had. Highly recommended this lovely place for a meal or a quite drink. Plenty of parking.

We had a lovely evening. We enjoyed our meal - great beef lasagne and beef burger. It was quiz night and we were invited to join in. Good fun was had.

Very enjoyable experience,warm and welcoming atmosphere with great service.Five of us ate on Sunday and all had roast dinners that we all thoroughly enjoyed ,really well cooked,presented and plenty of it .Will definitely visit again soon.All the best Simon and family :)

Lovely food, friendly staff and good service - well worth a visit!

Popular historic country pub on the IoW. Lovely welcome, extensive menus, good food and ales. Certainly recommended, but advise booking as can be very busy in the evenings

Mushroom starter is LOVELY. Friendly staff. We have been here 3 times this week and the food is constantly good.Great pub to have on your door step.

Great food and a very wide range on the menu. The portion sizes are big and the food really tasty. Been here several times and has always been great. Good choice for kids too and large vegetarian section. Plenty of seats inside and outside, with a small kids play area outside.
