Lovely little local pub, we visited with the future in laws as they are moving close to it soon and really enjoyed it. Feels very welcoming. Looking forward to visiting alot over summer

·

Lovely food , big potions. Hosts were nice and friendly. Not too expensive. Had a lovely time

·

Excellent choice of beers and a wonderful garden to sit in plus very friendly staff. A very good place to enjoy refreshment whilst walking on the Island

The staff were friendly and there was plenty of parking but the food was poor. I had the vegetation burger for just under £10. The burger patty was tiny, the bun was dry and there was no garnish, cheese or sauce. I was very disappointed. I'd be in no hurry to return.

The owners are so friendly and welcoming! It's very dog friendly [the owners have their own dog behind the bar as well] and there's an open fire and a pool table. There are some board games in the book case. They have the Island beer as well.Definitely worth a visit or two if you're in the area!

Great atmosphere, lovely staff. Food was good too and servings were huge!!Fab pool table room. Will visit again next time I'm over.

Nice dog and human friendly pub. Dogs were given treats on our second visit. The local ales from the island are good value at £3.50 a pint. Timothy Taylors Landlord is however overpriced at £4.70!Food was excellent. Generous portions and good value. I tried the home made soup with freshly baked roll and home made croutons, large fish and chips (skins on), peas (not mushy), salad garnish, and slice of lemon/tartare sauce.Highly recommended just for a drink or a meal/drink.

A fantastic CAMRA pub with a warm welcome from Pete & Sam. Fantastic for families and individuals alike. We went on recommendation one lunchtime and then booked in for Sunday Lunch as well. The food is fantastic and we could happily sit there all afternoon, drinking and playing games. A must if you are looking for a great meal out or just a drink.

Good place to make your local whilst on holiday. Good food, great beer and dog friendly. Large beer garden with playground for the kids if you got em. Did I say good beer?
