Good service from staff. Very good meals bigger than expected. Staff always on hand to help with any issues

I have a nut allergy and the team were more than happy to cater for me. I called in advance to let them know and upon arrival the staff mentioned that they were aware of my allergy. The food was great and the staff were very friendly, great communication and willing to help with a smile. I will be going again 😊

Fabulous Sunday lunch with 4 generations of family. A good range of portion sizes, and the roast was excellent. ( stuffing was superb)The garden is good for the children to get out into, with a good wooden climbing thing.Service was really good, and so friendly.Need to book in advance!Thanks for a lovely lunch.

Amazing place! My boyfriend and I each enjoyed a wonderful mixed grill and mine was coeliac-friendly. The staff were amazingly helpful, too. Relaxing surroundings in the restaurant area and the menu offers a great choice. We will be coming back very soon!!! Thank you 😊

I've driven by this pub several times and always meant to pop in. Glad I did as it was lovely inside, with friendly, polite staff and great ales. Didn't eat but next time going to give myself more time. Lots of parking outside.

A good local pub, decent, honest food. I had liver and bacon with mash - the mash and vegetables were great, huge portions. The liver was a bit overdone so a little rubbery. The decor is a bit old. Staff were welcoming and polite, service was fairly quick and clearly the veg was freshly prepared so very tasty. No complaints, it is what it is and I'm sure many people will rate it 4 or 5 🌟, just didn't quite do it for me.

We came here at the last minute, tired and on the way to the ferry with 2 young children and a dog - nothing was too much trouble for the fab staff. We got everything we asked for on the button. Food was great and portions generous. Would certainly recommend.

First visit and we were so impressed. Lovely food, lovely staff. We only went in for a light bite/ snack. Very generous portions and tasty too. Definitely will be returning.

We booked last thing yesterday for an evening meal. Well it was a lovely meal, good menu even though we both ordered off the specials board. The meals arrived lovely and hot and on warm plated as well which is a refreshing change. Our meals were beautifully cooked and presented, sensible generous portions as well. The service was very friendly and efficient without being overbearing. Well done to the staff at The Woodmans, well will be returning without a doubt.

Last minute booking. Delicious home made food. Both our meals were really tasty. Very friendly staff. Clean, although our table felt a little sticky I think that was just the cleaning solution! As people left tables were cleared and wiped.
