Woodvale Hotel Restaurant in Isle of Wight

The Woodvale Hotel is more of a traditional public house than a hotel.Plenty of road parking opposite in allocated spaces. It is situated opposite the promenade at Gurnard.A great place to pop into for a drink whilst watching the sailing craft go by or people watching.Food is available with a lunch and dinner menu. The staff are welcoming and efficient. Always a warm relaxed atmosphere.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. Great location, good quality rooms, friendly and informal staff. Our room had a sea view across the solent. 25 minute walk into central Cowes. The food was good and the pub has a nice atmosphere. Would definitely return.

Great service and fast food which me and my dad enjoyed 😎 they really tryed sell me the window seat because I wanted to sit in the corner because I felt vulnerable from benidorm. It's likely because it was right next to the staff kitchen , which was busy and people kept going in and out . I didn't mind and appreciated the consideration. I enjoyed my light lunch . I felt the coke was abit expensive , no really need to raise prices on soft drinks like this .

The meals are delicious! Every time we visit Cowes it's a ritual of ours that we walk to the Woodvale for lunch, then walk it off on the way back! Absolutely delicious food, & lovely views of the Solent as you eat.

What a great place to eat and drink with ample tiered seating looking out to the sea with great food and great staff. Well worth a visit and free on street parking

What a great pub to go to when the weather is fine. Whole family sat to eat, 12, and it all came out at the same time.. rather large portions but still everything was eaten. The view of Gurnard sea front is one of the best too. Sun storm its a good place to go.

We have never been disappointed with either food or service here. Today just the same. Lovely lunch and swift and friendly service

Alright roast dinner, and good dessert, nice views of the solent and beautiful sunset. Not that busy when we went for food on mother's day evening, not stayed at the hotel just ate there.
