Baan Sai Thai Restaurant in Lewes

We didn't know the area, but looked at reviews. Food was lovely and all served with a smile.Not sure if it's just Mondays, but 2 courses for £12.00. :)

Fantastic first experience of this gem-of-a-takeaway/restaurant in Peacehaven. I had chicken pad krapow, coconut rice and satay chicken on skewers. The food was hot, fresh and tasted so authenticly Thai - wonderful meal! Friendly service too! All in all, a brilliant place to either eat in or take out. I will definitely be returning!! Would recommend to everyone

We are not exactly spoilt for choice in the area for nice places to eat but the Baan Sai is one of them. Excellent menu and food, informal atmosphere and excellent customer service, the staff are always friendly and attentive. One of my favourite places to eat.

Great food lovely staff. I recommend the crispy fish and the lime drink.

Great service great food authentic thaifood reasonable price very friendly staff Lovely and many dishes of food to choose from the manu It's worth it and my favourite is prawn kra prao and coconut rice fish dish with chefs specails, pad. We have previously had takeaways from here and had no problems. However we ordered Satay chicken, wings with chilli and lemongrass, chicken Pad Thai and Red Duck Curry. The satay came with a tiny amount of satay sauce, not even enough for the 4 skewers. The wings didn't really have any taste.The mains were, quite honestly, awful. The curry had no spice and almost no flavour. It was way too watery and diluted and riddled with bits of fat.The Pad Thai had a strange taste and was one of the worst pad thais we have eaten. Unfortunately, the majority of the dinner went in the bin. Definitely will not be returning.

My son and daughter-in-law took me here for my birthday yesterday. Lovely variety of food and friendly staff. I know it's been here for a while but never thought of trying. It's SO worth it and no dearer than local Chinese or Indian restaurants. They do take-away as well. Definitely be back.

Always had delicious food from this restaurant. Staff very friendly. One of my favourites.
