Bill's Restaurant in Lewes

Not a great menu so had difficulty deciding, settled for Bill’s brunch.The waitresses brought us the meal rather large amount which included mushrooms, anyway the meal was barely warm when it arrived as soon chilled to a cold brunch, mushrooms are OK when hot but to me cold mushroom just taste slimy, I guess I ate the meal a bit quicker than I should have not wanting it to get stone cold and later my tummy was uncomfortable. A third smaller meal at a third smaller price would have suited, why do they pile so much on and a meal served hot these considerations would make it a far better and healthier place to eat.

Choose Bill’s for lunch while strolling in high street. Even we didn’t book a table and just turned up but still they were very helpful and managed a table after 5 mins wait. Staff was lovely and helpful. Atmosphere was great. Very busy place, so make sure you book a table. Loved everything on the menu so we selected our dishes. Very delicious n we were very happy with everything.

The original and, I'd say, still the best. Good atmosphere, regularly busy. I tend to have a full English breakfast there with a pot of tea but the menu is varied. Well worth a visit

Where do they get all the deco from? If ever you do not like the food, which would be surprising, you could spend hours looking at the deco. Nice place, good food, friendly but slightly too "American" staff..."Hi guys! "...No, really, get a grip!

I never review chain restaurants but this one was excellent! Great food and quick and friendly service regardless of it being packed inside. We had a lovely table under a blanket and heater outside.

Great experience here on Thursday 2nd Dec. We were served by Michael who was fantastic and ensured we were happy throughout. He was amazing. All of the other staff were also so helpful and attentive with my mum who is a wheelchair user (note no disabled toilet but the staff were great with helping provide access, but if you're a wheelchair user then call ahead to see if it's doable for you)Food was also great, and lovely iced coffees, thank you!

Had a lovely meal at Bills, we both had the "dirty vegan burger" can highly recommend. Service was good and quick too.

Wonderful burgers, drink, and atmosphere. Call ahead for reservations or be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes for a table.

Great for breakfast, lunch of dinner! The new interior is nice and there is also outside seating. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a pancakes with a coffee and golden (tumeric) latte. Reasonably priced.

First time visiting Bill's in Lewes, Family met as are attending a wedding tomorrow near by. So for starters we had Tuna Taco ( forgot to take picture) Giant Olives and Calamari which we shared have to say very niceI had Buttermilk Chicken and Rosemary Fires for me the coating on Buttermilk Chicken a little over done and hubby had Pan Fired Chicken and mushrooms, Herby Mash was ok and the chicken was a little dryDessert was for me 2 scoops of chocolate and one salted caramel Ice-cream and hubby had Gooseberry and Apple crumble with cream and custard which was very niceAnd as we mentioned ' Good Times' this entitled us to free wine and free beer which was very niceOverall the experience was good never heard of the chain before but was impressed and would recommend and will certainly visit again even I another location
