Caffe Nero - Lewes in Lewes

10/10 friendly staff who are game for a banter. Makes a workday a bit brighter! Of the coffee chains nero tends to be better and this branch shows them in a great light 👍

It was okay not the cleanest would have expected better particularly due to current environment. Found an eyelash hair on the plate my food was on.

Clean premises, friendly service and good coffee.

Been using this store on and off since was first opened in 2005 and something that the town has needed all along. Best time to go usually first thing in the morning however can be good at any time of day, good opening hours and always space for sit in service. Sometimes can be busier however staff get through orders quickly so all good. Toilets in cafe too.

Friendly staff, good coffee and fresh food. The Pork & Pancetta sausage roll with a rainbow slaw salad is really tasty. Likewise their vegan butternut, courgette and sweet potato roll is really good.

Called in for a quick cuppa and cake whilst in the area. Staff didn't seem interested. Not impressed when my cake was placed on a tray right under the nose of the person in front of me, who was waiting for her drink, so she could breathe all over it in covid conditions! The staff member should have had the common senses not to do this, when I mentioned this the uninterested staff member she said the other customer should have moved away?

Always have a hot coffee and lunch there and the service was excellent friendly

Massive all stars to CN in Lewes, I was there on Saturday last week after my visit to the castle.I just felt like having tea and scones but all the tea shops were closing at that time.Do I tried CN and to my delight, I was able to enjoy what I wanted in a cosy, easy going environment where a lovely fog was also among the guests (my joy as a pet lover).The girls behind the counter were just one big genuine smile, happy to help in whatever way, including with my request to be able to recharge my mobile phone a little.I really enjoyed those 40 minutes or so sipping my tea and the warmed scone before heading to my next destination and will definitely go back there whenever I am in Lewes.Girls you did the magic that day, something someone else a few doors away only a few minutes before failed terribly. 🙏❤️😉

TODAY SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 4TH 17:30 pm.NOT THE FRIENDLIEST staff in this town.The overweight girl doing the stock taking very unwelcoming and stroppy. The girl making my mocha the same... when i ask for my loyalty card to be stamped she does it , and just pushes it towrds me and turns back and carried on ,,, i guess NOT THE MOST REFINED PEOPLE in the world.

So a good option to come to when there is a quiet time to sit and await for meet ups and more. Quick service if not awaiting in a queue and coffee great made by professionals, newspapers and WiFi available, open every day apart from 25th December. Good Stuff.
