Never actually been in but the takeaway is lovely. All arrives warm and tasty as it should. I would highly recommend the seaweed - the perfect balance of sweet, salt and crispiness!

This restaurant is (alongside The Oriental in Crawley) my favourite Chinese takeaway. Always high quality tasty food.Edit Apr 2022:Unfortunately since I last had a takeaway here 2 years ago (which got 5 stars) I have had to take 2 stars off after a takeaway over the Easter weekend. The chicken balls had pink chicken inside. The Singapore fried rice was just OK and a bit greasy without the spicy flavour it used to have and the sweet and sour sauce was way too gloopy - to the extent that after only 10 minutes post opening it had set into the consistency of some sort of weird dessert.Not sure if there's a different chef now or whether it was a one off bad night for them. I'll try them again and adjust the rating just in case I caught them on a bad day.

First, dispite the box it came in saying "delicious HOT take-away food", it was Barely warm. The two dishes that where supposed to be crispy where not, and the others ones including there source's where over cooked, leaving a unpleasant bitter taste. Spent in excess of £50 for the privilege of putting it in the bin.

Ordered salt and chilli prawn, veg rice, chicken balls and beef chow main between 2 of us. Absolutely delish so much so that the only negative thing I have to say is that I ended up with tummy ache from over indulgence. I've been a customer for years but honestly the bar has been raised. And plenty left over for brekkie the next day. And the service is amazebouche. Always friendly and efficient. Thank you one and all at Castle. See you guys soon xo A YEAR AGO ago I posted this review. Well it's a whole different story now. I couldn't be more disappointed in the food I received on Thursday evening. It was inedible.

A really friendly, welcoming and pleasant experience. The food was delicious with a nice variety and range of flavours. The fried bean curd was particularly good with an excellent crunchy texture. We look forward to going again. The Kung Po and Szechuan were standout main courses.

Response to owners response:EDIT 2: I think it's incredibly disingenuous to accuse me of "abuse" when I am clearly using the word to describe the situation, not the individual. The best thing you could have done was stay quiet and take it on the chin, or, you could have apologised and acknowledge that expecting a customer to take food out of a bin for inspection, or to send someone down, is not only inappropriate, it's bizarre and shows a complete lack of faith in your customers feedback. Having used you for many years, one would assume having had no negative feedback before, that you would believe us. So sad that you felt a need to make this even more embarrassing for your business. I suggest you leave this now.Just awful tonight... They used to be great but it was inedible. Put in the bin as the smell was bad too.. very odd. Restaurant were called with a friendly feedback, but were asked to remove from the bin ? So they could collect? Totally mental. Just refund and move on, don't make the situation worse.

Quite simply "THE" Best Chinese take away I have ever had. Mix hour derves everything was stunning and the best I'd tasted. Meat spring rolls lovely prawns with ginger amazing! Delivered to Glynde Place pop up camp site. Fast delivery amazingly priced for the food quality. I wish you were where we live. We will be back and when we do we will order, not just on our last night! Well done!
