Tucked away in a quiet courtyard seating indoors and out. Good quality food well cooked and very tasty cakes. Friendly helpful staff.

We nearly missed this gem! A fabulous tucked away courtyard by an antique centre. Fresh baked cakes, lovely coffee, a really friendly staff. Will definitely go back.

Nice place something of a hidden secret tucked away in courtyard by reclaim building and furniture emporium style place. Can get busy and in cold weather worth wrapping up to keep warm. There are some inside seats down in basement area. Slight negative is they don't like you going to look at the counter and haven't always been friendly Insisting you sit down first and wait to be served. Which not great if you want to see what sort of cakes and pastries they have. However still like the place. Also great to explore the emporium style buildings and furniture shops.

Very pleasant place to have lunch. The food is decent, and despite a slow service the whole experience was good. Definitely worth trying the restaurant part... Really loved the quirky decor.

Love coming to this little cafe with 'plat du jour' and wonderful coffee. Has a lovely French ambience amongst the antique shops. Always good food and friendly staff.

I love this cafe. It's tucked away in a little courtyard setting. I love looking at the antiques in the courtyard shops, I love the peacefulness of the place, it's just like being on holiday. They have lovely food and the people who work there are lovely. It's been a while since going to lewes but when I go I seem to end up here away from the bustle. A perfect place after running around lewes.

A gorgeous little place to visit in the day for beautiful antiques but even better at night. It feels like a secret hideaway where you can while away your Friday night with a bottle of wine and good company. Even better when they have love music!

Stunning and charming little cafe by day, wine/cocktail bar by night. (Friday and Saturday for the bar).By far one of the best places in lewes, if not East Sussex.• The decor is brimming with authentic French antiques for the family owned antiques business next to it.• The food is amazing, headed by Pete the chef who has clearly knows his stuff• The wine is sensational. Try the Magneric if you don't mind spending a little extra, just leave some for me!• Relaxed and happy atmosphere. It's hard to be annoyed at anything when surrounded by such beauty.There's also a huge courtyard which is so good from spring to autumn, when a rather large fire pit comes out to warm up the pstrons.10/10 will go again!

Came here on a Saturday morning just as they opened to wait for a friend. Had a great cup of coffee and blackberry frangipane tart. Friendly staff and great ambience.My only critique would be that the pastry on the tart was too thick, but that really is nitpicking.
