Fantastic selection of bread, pastries, quiche, salads and coffee. Lots of seating but prepare to queue and wait....it is popular. Would be nice if the take out queue was separate.

Stopped in last week for a spot of lunch. Sat in the bakery's outdoor courtyard and had a delightful coffee and cake. Wonderful service from Frances. Will be stopping by again.

Absolutely delicious and creative sandwiches, toasties and tarts etc and amazing breads and cakes to take out. Seedy sourdough my particular fave. There's a nice courtyard garden for eating outdoors and the coffee is pretty good too. Better than Bills!

This is a serious bakery and cafe. I bake my own sourdough but going there made me wonder why I bother! It was the shop/cafe in Lewes. The bread shop sells rye and wheat sourdough and artisanal breads which look amazing. The cafe serves light meals and pastries.

Lovely cakes and pastries. Can't fault any of the food or service! However, it can get very busy and noisy when eating in. The tables are all a bit close and I felt that people were on top of us. Also, the bathroom is very revealing as the window is very clear looking out on to the seating outside. So you may very well catch eye contact with someone having a coffee outside.Would recommend for takeaway.

My favourite bakery/cafe in Lewes! The food is always delicious and they have some great vegan options too, I recommend getting in early as the treats go quick!

Great bakery (such good focaccia), BUT it was all a little hectic and noisy inside. Staff were lovely, but they need a better system, and make the place feel more cosy

What a beautiful cafe! Loved the decor and relaxing music (felt like I was in a spa!). The fresh bread and sheer selection of produce was incredible. The croissants tasted fresh and flaky. The raspberry and white chocolate cake (pictured) was amazing too! (Only minus one star for being overpriced - even for lewes! - unfortunately.) I will certainly be back to visit the garden though.
