Flying Fish in Lewes

This was a great find. We had been for a walk at Seaford and googled a place for a Sunday lunch. Absolutely fantastic food (try the hot pork scratchings) lovely, friendly and quick service and a great garden to sit in with the dog. Highly recommended.

Wow! What a pub. Really welcoming, when we arrived by Lexi, who was running the bar, she greeted us like she had known us for ever!The food is amazing and everything was fresh produce and freshly cooked. The sharing platters are phenomenonal and the chips were real chips and very tasty.We won't hesitate to return the next time we catch a ferry from Newhave

Lovely old independent pub,good beer and polite staff.Enormous garden as well as seating at the rear. Unfortunately we did not eat ,however plenty were and food looked good.

Food was great, steak very tender and cooked perfectly, my husbands burger was very nice and my son had a great children's portion fish and chips. And happy to see quality of food continue in the children's menu aswel. Staff very friendly and welcoming We really enjoyed it. Will be returning for more!

A good find. Went today for late Sunday lunch. Nice restaurant area but chose to sit in pub area. Lovely staff, friendly welcome, good service. I had the haloumi fries to start with sweet chilli dip & my partner had the spicy tomato soup. Both very nice. Then we had the roast lamb with all the trimmings. Generous portions. A great pub in Denton with outside seating at front and a rear garden. Our first visit and can thoroughly recommend for drinks and food. Menu was varied.

Food was amazing. Went there last night. Staff also very good. Only thing was it was very cold in there. They had all the doors open and it's not quite summer yet.

Had a meal and a pint. The welcome to the pub was really friendly and gave the feeling that you had walked into your local pub. The food selection offered a great choice and was good quality. I would certainly go again if in town again. I would definitely recommend the Flying Fish.

Went to this lovely local pub last night. Every town should have one. Warm welcome, a mixture of customers, all very friendly and the food - superb. I noticed a venison ragu which suggested an enthusiastic kitchen! Ragu just superb as was my wife's fish and chips, followed by delicious treacle tart and ice cream. Impossible to fault - a fabulous local, just wished we lived closer!

Absolutely stunning food and brilliant pub all round

A beautiful pub in NewHaven, a bit raucous due to a charity event, the roast dinner was just amazing the best I've ever had, the staff ever so polite and offering good service, this would be my Sunday place if I were living in NewHaven, I never give 5 stars but this so deserves it. Well done team.
