Lewes Garden Centre in Lewes

The only garden centre in the area that has kiwi berry plants in stock. So pleased. Really Great selection of outdoor and indoor plants, pots and supplies.Cafe was very busy but not been yet ourselves. Good selection of garden furniture and household goods and gifts.Good to see they repot their plants, reassuring they look after the stock they sell. Helpful staff. Always nice to visit and always hard not to buy lots of plants.The kiwi berries we bought last year are doing great, going for some lovely fruit in the summer.

Really enjoyed my visit. Lots to look at and a lovely cafe, also had some plants I haven't found.

I bought a tray of aconite from here. I could nit find them anywhere else. So we'll done Lewes garden centre!Staff were very friendly and helpful.

First time the cook decided to stop about 2.30 pm. This time we got a got meal because we got there before 2pm. It was not bad but vegetables were a little undercooked. Sort of cottage pie. Its ambience is slightly unhappy. Its prices are a bit higher than Brewers Fayre, say, because it lacks competitors offers for daytime eating of main meals. The quality of dinning is much lower and you run the risk perhaps of an early closing of the kitchen for hot food. If you do get it, it's not cheap but it's not too bad. No dogs, so that was good.

I like this garden centre. They have a good selection of plants and gardening accessories. The indoor space isn't big compared to modern garden centres but they have a good selection of bits and bobs at reasonable prices.The café can be a bit hit and miss but I only ever get a drink so not a problem for me.I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful which is such a plus.

Excellent plants, Christmas decorations etc for sale. Delicious snack lunch in cafeteria. Friendly staff. Very slow-moving queue in cafeteria.

We visited Lewes Garden center on 28th October for a family reunion. There were 14 of us, we had a lovely lunch and stayed chatting until 4:30. The staff were great, the grandchildren wondered around and spent their pocket money. It was a very special afternoon. Thank you for having us xxx

It has to be said, that this business has its act in order. You get a quite varied experience with not just plants, but the opportunity to food shop, or even have a bite to eat or drink. Always plenty of space to park.

Had lunch their with my mum and Aunt - food was tasty but their tea 🤢 Dogs are welcome and you can sit with them in a section of the restaurant. They have all the Christmas things out now so it all looks very pretty.

These garden centres make a fantastic stop for coffee and cake. They're also probably really good if you have a garden and a need for plants but otherwise there's no reason to visit. They look soooo boring and in need of some sort of serious makeover or reinvention. It's nice enough but nothing to get excited about.
