Luna Rossa in Lewes

Went here recently with my wife for the 1st time and really enjoyed it. Really nice inside, food was good and the service was excellent. Our waitress very friendly and chatty and couldn't do enough for us. I will definitely be going back.

We had a lovely meal here today. Portions were a good size and it was very tasty. We would definitely go back.

Nice lunch in the Luna Rossa, great service and well priced.Always a good meal here, as have had dinner here to.Good to see it being busy.

Had a meal tonight with my son. Food was tasty and well presented. A nice gap between courses so didn’t feel rushed. Good value for what we had, will eat here again.

Restaurant has new chef and the food was not up to normal standard, in fact tasted totally different from previous chef. Chicken was dried out and burnt, vegetables were hard and food was very salty. Ordered drink twice but it did not turn up and the service was very poor. I felt standards had slipped and it’s doubtful we will return. It’s a shame as we often used restaurant

Was looking forward to our dinner on Friday,Not like previous visits as the service was not upto scratch. Not enough staff therefore the ones that were on under so much pressure.One bar person making up cocktails and serving drinks to the whole restaurant.Quality of drinks went downhill as night went on.Serving cocktails in prosecco glasses etc.

Food excellent as usual.Waitress though had a shocking attitude. Table half an hour late which is fair enough on a weekend night. When we asked why a table was given to a couple who arrived after us i was told "they were also have 7 you'll get yours".Drinks were ordered before and during the meal and each time we had to ask 3 times where they were as she forgot to put the order in.Bar manager was polite and helpful enough. Food and cocktails were excellent as usual.Massively let down by the blonde waitress who had such a shocking attitude i refused to leave any sort of tip for the 1st time ever.

A lovely lunch at a reasonable price, as per usual.

Took my husband here for his 60th birthday with our family. I left ballon’s for the table which wasn’t put out ready for us when we turn up. The food wasn’t brilliant and the service, as I had to ask for the birthday cake. Then I had to go back to restaurant to ask for my deposit as it wasn’t reduced from the finally bill. If I never return to this restaurant they would have kept my deposit. Absolutely shocking service, that the manger said he never had my phone number which was totally wrong.

Very relaxed atmosphere, staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is lovely. There were 15 in the party in total, everyone enjoyed the food they ordered. 👌🏻
