Food very good, atmosphere good pub very crowded, staff very helpful. Recommend to friends.

A tradition pub with great food, great beer and a great atmosphere.

Nice proper country pub. Popped in after a lovely walk in nearby woods. Barman was instantly welcoming. Good beer, cosy feel to the place. And a good number of locals giving the place a real sense of character.

Decent little pub. Heard it's Piers Morgan's favourite, so naturally I was very glad he wasn't about ;)Was the first pub I came too (with a couple of mates) after covid earlier this year and was made to feel very welcome.The time we arrived (probably mid to late afternoon) the place was practically empty. Some interesting decor, the place is clearly very old and well run. Was just a little dull really.Toilets were a little gross as well, but I wasn't expecting much more from a pub in Newick.Cheers :)

Visited this pub for the first time today after a visit to Sheffield Park and we loved it! The food is AMAZING (best meal I've had for ages!) friendly staff, lovely character pub and all round enjoyable experience. Thanks for a great afternoon/evening, will hopefully be back soon :)

Really friendly owner/Bar man who absolute made lunching there, a lovely experience. Nice atmosphere. Food good, not outstanding but would go again if we were in the area.

Been going here on and off for many years. A lovely cosy pub for those winter evening with a good selection of local beers. A nice view over the village square for the summer days. Also a great Bonfire Night!
