Telscombe Tavern in Lewes

Good honest pub, no bells and whistles. Good welcoming crowd of locals. Food is improved since last visit. Dog friendly. £6 meals on Mondays is good value.

Parked in the car park and gave my car registration to the bar staff to avoid a car parking ticket whilst having a business lunch and guess what? Yep I ended up with a car parking fine of £60 after spending over £30 in their premises, strange that, I wouldn’t recommend because clearly the bar staff didn’t bother registering my car registration, fuming 😡

Noise but good service pool was fun but uneven and only one of the cues were playable but other the that it was a nice environment and would go there again

Service ok, bar person smiled and was polite. Not very busy but was in the week. Toilets smelt very damp

Nice place, Unfortunately got a parking ticket!!!! I was at a wake of my neighbour and bar staff should have asked me for car reg, hopefully it is being sorted out now . Parking restrictions have only been in place a few weeks, so be aware!!!!!

Great food, beer and service food was better than most places have been in the area, view from back isn't bad either.

I would definitely recommend. The staff were really friendly and accomodating. The food was great as well.

Really good value, friendly staff and brilliant deals on food for example they do a two for one on burgers some days we love going on those days awesome burgers.

The food and staff were brilliant. The only negative is being sat near the men’s toilet. People often come and go and the smell was off-putting.Would definitely return if seated elsewhere.
