Lovely place for a family birthday celebration. £28.50 pp for all you can eat menu. Good selection of food and plenty of it, served quickly by friendly staff. Recommended.

Visited here last weekend for my Dad's birthday. The staff let us hang little banners around our table, which was really sweet of them. We hadn't sorted a cake either, so they gave my Dad some extra ice cream and squirty cream and popped a candle in, singing him Happy Birthday. Lovely food and even lovelier staff - thank you so much!

I live nearby and regularly have take aways. Price, standard and variety of food are great. Never had a bad experience with eating in or getting take away. Staff are very pleasent and professional. Totally reccommed The Thai Elephant Two.

We saw this restaurant on route to our accommodation in town around 8:30pm on a Thursday and noted the sign outside stating opening hours were until 11:30pm, so decided to check-in and shower before coming back for a meal. Arrived at 9:45 and asked for a table, to be quite rudely dismissed by staff telling us they were closing, that their hours were until 10pm and the kitchen was closed. I questioned the sign details and they first denied the hours quoted before coming to look and then said it was an old sign and they didn’t have money to change it. Sure, perhaps we should have asked inside to book at table when we first passed, but why disbelieve the sign and make an extra stop? I suggest updating the sign to avoid misleading potential customers and having some better manners when greeting them.

Been coming here for years and have always been happy. Haven't been for some time however after visiting recently I was told during the starters do we want to order mains now as we only have 20 mins left then we must leave? When I questioned this they told me it is only 2 hour slots. We were never told this when we booked? This was also not the case with my previous visits. If we knew this then we wouldn't of been so relaxed and laid back chatting. The price had increased which I understand things go up however the portions they sent out for 4 people were the size for 2 people. Felt rushed and left disappointed. Was not the same experience at all. Has certainly gone down hill massively. Will not be returning!
