The Brewers Arms in Lewes

Traditional pub and good food at reasonable prices. Two of us shared 3 starters for lunch, a bit of variety and more than enough.

I go for the beer (so many options that they change regularly) and the fact it's close. Probably could do with a bit of TLC/investment (decor), but very friendly and you know what you're going to get!

My go-to Lewes pub for reliably perfectly cooked pub classics. More adventurous choices will almost certainly be worth a try, but I can't get past the scampi and chips. Crunchier and more satisfying than any across the land. Leave some for me though. Actually don't choose scampi... It's... erm... rubbish. You wouldn't like it at all 😉

Proper pub, decent cask, friendly staff, dog friendly.

Brilliant pub. Went on Saturday evening. Lots of people but was served immediately by efficient and friendly staff. The atmosphere in the bars was incredible. Back bar had big screen for footy etc front bar for food and drinks.

Tale of 2 pubs. Front is old school / tradition look and feel but the back is for sports fans. Personal favourite of mine. Food is also great value.

Nice, cute pub. It's mostly crowded during the weekends. Must try beers over here. I just loved the weekend ambiance.

A pleasant and hospitable place. There a sports bar and a more formal bar. Good pub menu with piping hot, well prepared food. Harvey’s Bitter and many other good beers on tap. Recommended!

A lovely little pub. Had a hamburger and was pleasantly surprised. I thought they're onion rings were very good and the cheesy chips too were good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice little pub on the high street that was not crowded for Sunday lunch. Very good gravy, lots of veg but only one Yorkie for the roast beef. Staff are friendly and conscientious about social distancing. The garden is small but lovely with a great selection of summer flowers creating a lovely atmosphere.
