Fabulous food and service ,full up outside today as sunny day so sat inside ,highly recommend trying the sea Bass and the lamb chop. Best to book gets very busy

The menu is enticing,good selection cosy atmosphere warm and friendly food is very good wonderful bar staff, A great place to go off the main Uckfield road outside Lewes,also a cosy log fire burns!

Booked a Saturday lunch here , seems very quiet , great service very friendly staff team .Good food selection on menu , served in good time .Food was great overall.Dog friendly in bar and garden only , open fire too ,Sadly the interior needs some loving .Still worth a visit 🐾⭐️

Met for a lunchtime meal and we welcomed by lovey staff and served very quickly. Only to happy to help with anything we needed. Food was delicious- highly recommended!

Had a lovely roast dinner here today. A beautiful traditional and welcoming pub, a roaring open fire and friendly and attentive staff. The food was incredible and the service quick but without making us feeling rushed. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back. Thanks for looking after us so well.

Excellent. Lovely outdoor seating and the food was simple but well prepared and delicious.

The absolute best steak & ale pie I have ever had, and I've had a fair few. Served with mash, veg and gravy. We were a party of 6 and all of us enjoyed our food. Staff were lovely. Although we ate inside this time the garden is great in the sunnier sunny days.

The food was delicious and the staff were great! This is the first place I've managed to hunt down a biscoff cheesecake and it was worth the wait!!
