The Dewdrop Inn in Lewes

The place is nice and the outdoor pleasant for a sunny day. In hospitality the most important is the experience and service, in this case it was awful.1:30 waiting for the food, the lady tried to rob us by charging double the total bill and overall was rude, a bad representative from the pub and Unbearable!Lewes has many pubs and for some reason this was the only one we could find a spot, because the lady working there is just terrible

The Staff are really friendly, though they seem to favour the Dogs! - I didn't get a free biscuit... It's got lovely decorated Gardens that get a nice bit of sun and a nice selection of drinks.

Quirky decor, which is interesting and adds to the ambience. We had delicious Sunday lunches, staff very welcoming and a lovely atmosphere. Great to be back.

A lovely looking traditional pub with a quirky interior (sewing machine bases used as dining table legs and funky craft made from car wheel caps on the ceiling). What disappointed us the most was a slow service last Saturday, only one person serving, and that we were asked to wait for at least 30 min before ordering lunch (two small plates/starters). This wasn't even a peak lunch time and from what we could see, only two tables had ordered food and were waiting. They didn't seem understaffed in the kitchen either - there were at least three kitchen staff...so I guess a lovely pub which is just badly managed.

I looked up this pub on the internet as we were staying in Lewes on a short break. It looked like a good place to go and we were not disappointed. As we walked in, the unique interior of the pub and the number of people in the pub gave off a great atmosphere. The beer I ordered (Aurorer) was brilliant and the food we ordered was excellent. The service we had was friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Snowdrop Inn.

Good atmosphere and a range of excellent beers. Food was variable. We had an excellent chilli con carne and a dried out roast chicken. Also table service poor; we waited an hour for mains and then 30 minutes for dessert, wait staff not helpful when we pointed this out. But staff were friendly. I recommend it for a drink but not to eat.

Delicious food and a nice vibe. Just a short stroll down from the main street and well worth it! Chat beer with the Manager, try the Reishi (mushroom brewed) non-alcoholoc beer, the rothaus non-alcoholic beer. And definitely the cod and leek pie. Wow. Absolutely delicious. And the BBQ pork ribs, perhaps not at the same time as they are generous servings. And the fries.. excellent stuff.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Limited choice for vegans but the menu is limited so you could fresh, tasty food. We all enjoyed what we ordered surrounded with quirky decor and interesting beers on tap. Will go ahead

Fantastic food and great service. We went yesterday evening and the food was comparable to an expensive gourmet restaurant. There is a great selection of beers on draft. The ambience is lovely. The beer gardens are picturesque. A real classy joint!

We have been back to the Snowdop to have a meal. Absolutely fantastic! Well worth it. I had a Chunky steak burger, with homemade chips and homemade coleslaw. My partner had sirloin steak with homemade chips and peppercorn sauce.Staff are friendly and welcoming, Dominic the manager stops to spend a few minutes with each table. The pub also warmly invites you to bring your dog with you as well.Again, an absolutely fantastic place❤❤❤💯💯💯💯💯💯
