Tremendous village boozer

The Fountain is no ĺonger a Youngs pub and recently changed managers, it was closed during the change. I was there over the jubalee.

Small but friendly pub that is the heart of the village. Excellent selection of beers to choose from and, with the prospect of the long awaited return of cooked food, makes this the ideal venue for a relaxing evening out.

Good selection of beers and bar snacks. Friendly and efficient service.

managed to squeeze us in at the end of service despite a large order being placed immediately before us. and still managed to get our food fair quickly in my mind (40 mins). cosy place and busy outside. a nice local pub and such good portion sizes. super tasty! I had the macaroni cheese and was so full - so much cheese!

Beautiful family run business with gorgeous food cooked by the lovely wife,mother and great hostess Annie. Well recommended by local Plumpton home owners who frequent it's food and drink. Tasha and Sandy enjoyed the Sunday Dinner and the friendly locals. We will be back xxx

really nice pub. great prices and great atmosphere. the Young's beer is a little weak but you can find a handful of other pints starting at 3.6 pounds.the only downside is that the bathroom is outside... but nothing a coat can't handle.the staff is also very friendly
