I visited this new sushi bar and Korean fried chicken place last weekend! Volcano sushi rolls are very fresh and the spiciness is just right! The eel sushi rolls are also very delicious! Korean fried chicken is also better than other Korean restaurants! I have never had such delicious fried chicken! The chicken was very fresh and specially marinated, and also came with some pickled radishes! Very good match. Prices are also reasonable. We will be back!

We tried the fish and chips here! very fresh. Very friendly service. Prices are also fair. Korean fried chicken is enough! Recommended. πππ So I give five stars.

The fish with chips is very fresh and the price is reasonable. I had one last week and will be back again. The waiters are also very friendly. Open kitchen, not only can eat delicious food, but also can watch the food cooked while waiting

I was apprehensive but hopeful for the redesign and take over of what had been the best fish and chip shop in Lewes for many years into korean street food.firstly blocking people on fb when your replies to potential customers are misleading or as false as your advertising isn't the best way to get custom.secondly the portions are tiny yet the price is more than previous.perhaps this is just a hiccup at the start but my current review isn't positive I'm afraid. Such a shame.

A little bit pricey but the chips are the best I've had,the guy who works there seems lovely and it's generally a 10/10 experience, highly recommend

Recooked several times over chips, won't be returning there in a hurry!

Made a big order for myself and work colleagues. Good friendly service and when one order needed to be cancelled, had no issues. Staff were friendly when I arrived to pick the food up and even gave us some sauce for free. The food was fresh and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food. Would definitely recommend

Why are they called The Friar? Because they are experts at what they do. First found this place on Bonfire night and was amazing, with trepidation went in lockdown.... nothing to be worried about - beautifully fried chips and fish by The Friar.

Great portion of really tasty fish and chips. No frills, just great affordable food.
