The Swan Falmer in Lewes

Excellent pub, with great beers and friendly staff. Food looked good but didn't try any.

Proper traditional pub with proper traditional grub .

Good place for a mid week lunchtime drink .Dissapointed with the quality of the food at lunch on Wednesday, dogs allowed,staff friendly.

Nice old small looking pub by the University of Sussex in Falmer. 👍👍👍👍👍Giving it 5 stars and 9 out of 10.

GREAT old style pub to meet in. Friendly staff,good beer,very welcoming,somewhere you can feel relaxed and enjoy the surroundings People of all ages can mix and feel comfortable . Nice large terrace in clean country fresh air.a beer in your hand , just sit there and feel at peace. Foods good as well ,you won't leave feeling hungry that's for sure. .Happy days

Great food, nice location near Falmer duck pond. Nice choice of food, great food and reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend.

Been in many places throughout England in my twilight years - either for a snack - lunch or the full meal - without hesitation we hand a 5 star to "The Swan Inn" for the brilliant and such friendly service - nothings to much trouble - the brilliant food the lovely log fire this time of year - and finally the doggy bag requested because the meal was so good we took left overs home for supper - lubly jubly Thanks Martin and the staff at the Swan Inn - see you again soon 👋

I've been there a few days ago with my colleagues. Staff are charming. Food is very tasty and it serves in a generous portions. Close to the pub there is the Falmer pond, a nice place to go for a walk. I really recommend it.

Friendly, traditional pub attracting a mixed crowd of regulars made up of Falmer and Brighton locals then add the odd uni Student. The beer gardens are Suntraps and bike and dog friendly Match days are busy but the Burger and Pint on this day is good value. Pub grub is always good quality and plenty of it. Cosy at Christmas with fireplaces, fab Xmas meal and a raffle. Now has a Barn available for parties.One of my favorites.
