Big Bens Fish & Grill in Maidstone

Every time I’ve eaten from here it’s been delivered, it always turns up hot and in time, the food is 10/10. The Big Ben burger is to die for.

Stopped today and grabbed a burger for lunch. The thing was a re-heated afterbing pre-cook. Was cold, very cold almost frozen in the middle. Horrible, inedible rubbish!! Rank….. I rang to complain and the guy did say to come back and he’d swap it but I didn’t have time, but why not just cooked it properly in the first place! I wanted for 5 minutes for in so it’s not like they didn’t have time as it was empty. Really poor….. will not be visiting again.

Some of the best fish and chips I've ever tasted, the pies are exceptional too. only problem is they are only open until 21:30, so no late night munchies.

We have had food from here several times and really enjoyed it but the last few times we have been very disappointed with the quality of the chips or should I say crunchy scraps!! And the pies are usually really nice but again they have not been upto the quality we have had in previous visits. The pies have been very dry in side like they have sat there to long. We will not be buy our dinner from here again 😞

Chips were hard and burnt . This was the second portion of chips they gave us as the first portion had something in them ? that they removed then threw the portion away ? sausage in batter was a spicy/ herbie sausage this was not mentioned .Would definatly not reccomend to anyone . This was our first visit and we would not be going back . Very bad experience and a total waste of money .

This place is absolutely wonderful best fish and chips in town by far and also the vegetarian and vegan is that a good good good good good good good good good selection

A great place to grab a bite to eat, would be 5* but I've had some inconsistent quality of food when I've had it delivered.Still a awesome place ran by fantastic people.

Had a fantastic round of Haddock and chips here. The best I've had in town. Not too greasy and plenty of flavour. Good quick service.

Wow! Binned all my food that just arrived, think it was maybe old or gone off donner. Chips were probably warmed up afternoon service. Disgusting. Shame it started well but has dropped in standards. Needs to be seriously reviewed. Second time recently been this bad, so crossed off the local weekly takeout list.

Far away our best fish and chips experience!This is a lovely little place with nice ambience, option to eat outside and a very friendly staff.Everything was cooked well, tasty, nothing was too oily, and his hand made milkshake was simple amazing!Just give it a try and you never will need another fish and chips place!
