Really disappointing. Both the menu and the price massively oversell what is actually a plate of unseasoned, floppy veg. It’s a bit of a stretch to even include tenderstem broccoli on the menu to serve one limp piece per person. I’ve never left a roast potato on my plate, but these were genuinely unpalatable. Can’t believe this was the Easter dinner we’d waited weeks for. Either the menu description and price need to be adjusted drastically to set realistic expectations, or you need to serve fresh, seasoned food. The only positive was that the pre-cooked and probably reheated food came out in 2 minutes so the whole experience was over in less than 30 minutes, leaving plenty of time to try and save the day by going home to throw some Aunt Bessie’s in the oven which would b e a huge improvement on what we were served.

Had a really delicious meal and excellent service from our servers Sarah and Sabrina, they were super busy and it seemed under staffed but two ladies did not dissappoint and arena credit to the Chiltern Hundreds. Food portions good and great atmosphere. Highly recommend this pub for food and drink if you find yourself in Maidstone. Great value for money. Will visit again for sure!

What a lovely pub. We had booked for a wake and food for 40 people. Were given a nice private area for the family. Staff and food were very good. Rest of pub was busy with people eating. We will definitely come back for a meal soon. A big thanks to staff that were working on 13-12-21.

Great food, beautifully cooked and decent portions. Excellent service and very welcoming, the only downside was a lack of decaf drinks or similar options. Would certainly recommend and will visit again.

A birthday treat, & thoroughly enjoyable too.I had the signature burger..... very tasty, followed by sticky toffee pudding.Would have preferred the apple & blackberry crumble, but it was unavailable.Staff were quick to seat us, & service was relatively quick.Definately recommend this venue for a meal out.Plenty of parking available.

An all round great restaurant / pub!! The staff were on the ball and polite. The food was delicious and hot. The atmosphere was lively and bubbly. A great all round pub to enjoy your evening! Driven past so many times and never been in…It’s now going to be my new local!! Try it - You’ll be glad you did!!

Food was served quickly, presented nicely and staff were both efficient and friendly. Nice and spacious, clean and accommodating. Food was enjoyable, a good variety and I ordered something slightly different to what was on the menu, which I received as requested. Dinners were brought out at the same time. Child friendly and room outside to eat or drink as well as the dining areas inside.(Currently they do require customers or at least one customer in each group who's willing to scan the barcode on the poster for each person in the group, to have their phone with them for track and trace covid-19 purposes before entry)
