Very expensive for a large glass of wine £9. Kitchen was closed at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon 😔 Shepherd Neame = same old beer/no choice, especially when you are in Kent

Haven’t been here for a long time - thought I’d try it - gorgeous old pub- but could do with some updating especially outside. I lunched today from the main menu which was just about ok - but not at all outstanding, especially for the price- bearing in mind 3 mains - 2 starters 3 diet cokes and 2 glasses of wine which including a small tip equated to over 90 pounds think it was very very overpriced - bearing in mind , I am in the hospitality industry - my main gripe was the cost of the wine - it was wine I use in my establishment, which I pay probably 6 pound a bottle - it was 9.40 a glass there’s profit and there’s profit - we sell the same wine which we get through shepherd Neame at 5.50 a glass so for the price and quality will not be back in a hurry -the guy serving was nice enough

Great traditional pub. Friendly staff and great food. Easy parking My only gripe is the liimited range of cask ales or would be 5 stars

Warm and friendly welcome for lunch today, pre booked table however it was surprisingly quiet. Food was lovely and staff very attentive. I certainly recommend to anybody to visit and eat here.

Never eaten here but beer has always been fresh, decent sized outside area in the summer. Nothing for kids as far as I know but lovely old pub.

The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed and the food was great. However there is not too much selection on the food. It has a very warm and welcoming feel to it and the staff are very polite and helpful.

Fantastic food in here. It's not the cheapest place to eat but you get great food and good size portions! Some of their cheesecakes are really good too.Landlady very friendly.
