Crispins Fish and Chips in Maidstone

Always use them always lovely but unfortunately today the chips were dry like cooked twice spoiled it about but fish always fabulous

Don’t believe the hype chips are cooked in same oil as fish the chips are hard defiantly not 10/10 as some would have you believe the prices are also ridiculous so not sure why there’s so many 5 star reviews I’ve lived here for 11 years and never had 10/10 chips from

Brought 3 meals yesterday about 1.30 shouldn’t have eaten them as first bite tasted like the oil was very used and at 8 o’clock last night both me and my daughter was so ill being sick and the other end I will never use them again even the child felt hard in the mouth once spat out they were black brown colour not good food poisoning isn’t very good

I had chips & a Beyond burger as well as onion rings. I can honestly say they were the best chips I’ve had in a long time. The burger was perfect & the onion rings were lovely. Definitely give their food a go; you’ll not regret it.

Fantastic traditionally cooked Fish and Chips and more as they also sell Burgers, and Southern Fried Chicken. I suspect there was even more.The portions were generous and beautifully (fresh) cooked with crunchy batter.The young lady that served us wasso nice and cheery, all the staff were and the young man was continually cleaning which was reassuring to see.

This has to be one of the best places in Maidstone to get fish and chips. The fish is cooked perfectly along with the batter they use, top marks. The chips are, as with fish cooked to perfection, not greasy, dry or hard. I always buy from here when I visit. Definitely recommend.

A good chippy never had a problem till recently ,one time my order which was cooked fresh went to another customer so had a double weight time , i understand this happens so wasnt to bothered however today realy wasnt happy with the fish - small and mashed up .when phoned didnt even get an apology ,very unsatisfied but still give 2 stars as i will get over it and this has only been recently and have faith these things will be addressedPaul

Bit of a trek to get to this shop from where we are located. Would have been nice if they did senior's discounts. But enough in their portions for the money

We absolutely love this plaice (I know, I know) it's a regular Monday evening stop on the way back home. Thanx for such amazing frying up!
