Brilliant place to visit with your Labrador. Great dog friendly hotel, well appointed bedrooms, we had an amazing front view over to the lake, my dog was very welcome to dine and drink with me in the lounge and bar, nothing was too much trouble for the really friendly team. Food was of an excellent standard too and well maintained grounds. All in all super hotel which I would highly recommend and I will definitely revisit.

We enjoyed the Mother’s Day afternoon tea today. The sun was shining and the location perfect but Lewis our waiter made our day extra special with his attention and sense of fun. Thank you Lewis.

This is an excellent place to stay if you're looking for old fashion charm with great service. We got married here 20 years ago loved it then and still love it today. 16/03/2022

In the main the hotel was fine. We booked the accessible room which was very large and plenty of room to manoeuvre a wheelchair. The downside was the shower is not suitable as it's too small and the shower chair is too large. The chair fits, but it takes up all the shower tray so you can't stand up. There is a step up into the shower. We had dinner in the restaurant on 2 consecutive nights. The food was lovely and well cooked but the restaurant was chilly. Had it not been for the shower and restaurant I would have rated it as 5 star. The staff are friendly and very helpful at reception and the restaurant.

We got married at Chilston Park at the end of December, when the latest variant of Covid meant a lot of guests had to drop out at the last minute but the hotel reacted quickly and calmly, reorganising tables and chairs on the big day and doing everything humanly possible to make sure we still had an amazing day.The staff were attentive but never intrusive, all extremely friendly and approachable and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was superb with so many meal options, and a great menu for the children as well. The rooms are just amazing… in fact our only regret is that we didn’t think to book an extra night as we were sorry to go home when check-out time came!Thank you, Chilston Park, for a very special day.

What a special place Chilston Park is.Ever since we first viewed it when we were looking for a wedding venue, the magic f the place has stayed with us.Because of restrictions, it's not been possible to visit recently but having afternoon tea there, accompanied by singers sharing songs from musical theatre, brought all the incredible memories of our big day come flooding back. One of the things that strikes us when at Chilston Park is how each member of staff treats you more like a house guest than just a customer. Many of them remember us from previous visits, even after 3 years!!They will always try to provide the very best service and special requests are willingly catered for. There aren't many places where we've experienced such an attention to detail.Well done to the manager, Paul, and all of the team, and thank you for making every visit a special occasion.

I was married at Chilston Park in 2003 my day was absolutely amazing, my father sadly passed away a month before I was due to marry they moved my wedding date and kept the arrangements exactly as they were as if my father was with us.I have been back on several occasions and just booked my big birthday in July. From management down to junior staff everyone is so welcoming have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Chilston Park Hotel

The place itself is 5 stars, lovely staff . Drinks prices are very high and that's why I dropped a star. A Malibu and 200ml of cola and extra bottle of 200ml cola was £9.50 . Room's are clean and tidy, very spacious and a credit to the hotel.

I have never stayed here but have come for lunch or dinner on several occasions. It is a very pleasant hotel, the staff are all very friendly and the food is excellent. We came for lunch this time, but it was so pleasant we stayed until late in the evening drinking around the fire.
