One of my favourite places in Maidstone when I choose where to go for a breakfast. Really love their atmosphere. Very nice to have a chance to see the owner of this place. All members of staff are very friendly and always serve with smile. Will definitely come back again and again. Just a shame they are closed on Sunday

Amazing food, friendly staff. Beautifal bistro. Amazing wine selection, they even had a French singer. Wonderful. 3rd visit to here

Very nice, and great to try some genuinely different food to what you get in the UK by and large, highly recommended!

really amazing food and so lovely environment, Gin cocktail is so beautiful. If the table cloth can not be paper will be much lovely, but anyway highly recommended and will go for another time.

Always, excellent food & drink. Visited numerous times & will go again. Good atmosphere with friendly & helpful staff. Highly recommended. They are good in that they will rearrange the tables for larger parties when you book in advance.Although the rules had just been relaxed regarding the wearing of masks for Covid, all the staff were still wearing them. One slight criticism is that the menu has hardly changed since I first ate there. One would expect changes with the seasons & which fruit & veg are in season at the time.

This place is phenomenal. As a Canadian, I have high expectations of service and I wasn't disappointed. Everything was like a well oiled machine and happened in a timely manner. We had drinks, starters, mains and dessert. Everything was so delicious that when I go back again, It'll be hard not to have the exact same thing! The portions were very big. We were stuffed! It was clean, spacious, well decorated and the staff were all really well presented and lovely. One staff member was wearing her face mask under her nose which was a bit annoying but she was young. You know how youngsters are with bending the rules. 😂It wasn't too expensive, but it wasn't cheap. If you want to have 3 courses and drinks, expect to pay £30 +I'll definitely be returning here often. And next time I will take photos! 5 stars from me.

I really like this place and have eaten here twice in the last week with a friend. The service is great, the staff are all really friendly and engaging as well as knowledgeable ( we were recommended lovely wine by our waiter on our first visit and on my second visit I threw a curve ball and asked for an off menu brandy to finish and to my delight I was offered a beautiful armagnac #kudos ), the food is great as is the wine list, and finally not to forget the deserts in the patisserie; the pistachio and raspberry tart in particular was stunning.A well run restaurant, a real little tucked away gem 👍👍👍

We have heard so many lovely things about this restaurant and have tried many times before to get a table, but on a Friday or Saturday they were always fully booked, which I guess goes a long way to tell you how popular it is. We had a day off, it was a weekday so we thought we would try our luck & amazingly they had a table for lunch. We got there a little earlier to sit outside and have a drink. Now, it is not in the most desirable location in Maidstone. It is on a mostly pedestrianised strip that runs between 2 other roads, but you will get the occasional delivery vehicle or bin lorry that needs to come down, so the only view you get is other buildings. Also, the outdoor tables are on the outer edge of the pathway, so you can get people walking right past your table. Not so much of a bother if you are just having a drink, but we decided we would not want to dine outside. Inside however was lovely. One part of the restaurant had the walls covered in wine racks. The other had copper pots & branches covered on fairy lights & nice big windows (for those people watchers out there.) Their wine selection was good & their gin selection even better. Expertly paired with just the right Fever Tree tonic. The food was divine. Wine, cheese, bread, paté what is not to love. For 2 of us on the lunch menu for 3 courses each with 3 g&t's, 3 glasses of white wine & a desert wine each we paid around £120 which does sound like a lot of money, but considering what we had and the quality of the food we found it very reasonable. Most definitely worth a visit, but I would recommend inside dining.
