Gurkha Restaurant in Maidstone

the only restaurant we feel is clean, safe and or accommodating enough throughout, Maidstone Kent. Highly recommended. If you have special dietary needs like IBD, gluten or other intolerances, call in advance to see how they can possibly accommodate. They did for us and it really blew us away because we really struggle to find take away that doesn't make my partner ill.

Despise it's rather incongruous setting, this is a dining experience not to be missed. Despite being quite busy, the service was well executed, the food was served in good time and was faultlessly delicious. This was my personal experience, my guests all agree with my comments.

Have eaten in the restaurant and food was excellent, however the delivery service is very poor. First time a side dish was missing which they said would be recorded for future delivery. Tonight I ordered at 18.40 and was told delivery would be 1 hour 10 mins which I accepted. At 20.15 I phoned to be told food had not left the restaurant and there was no rice available which I had ordered, it was out of stock! Requested a full refund and will not be ordering from them again. Very disappointing , they certainly need to improve

Ordered from The Gurkha Kitchen for the first time. Meal arrived quickly, was hot and everything was there.Loads of flavour in each of the dishes and the chicken madras had a really nice kick to it.We’ll definitely be ordering from here again.Thank you for a lovely meal.

Excellent atmosphere with good seating. Food is seasoned with the perfect blends of spices with great variation on the menu!It does get busy so get a table early otherwise you might be standing around for a while.

The menu is like an Indian takeaway despite being in a formal eat-in restaurant. The food is good and well presented. It's an interesting casual-formal fusion, definitely worth a visit.

Great place and a lovely varied menu. Staff are very friendly and helpful with any dishes you have questions on. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited here on a Friday night with 3 friends. Place was packed, but we'd reserved a table and got seated in 5 minutes. Service was friendly and the staff talked to us. I had the vegetable momo starter followed by Sherpa Lamb curry. The curry was delicious, lamb was tender and the sauce well flavoured, not your typical curry. A very good evening out.

I had lamb tikka starter which was tender and tasty. My main course was chicken naga, mushroom bhaji and boiled rice. Everything was cooked just right, very tasty and well spiced. I would definitely go back.
