Wonderful local pub! Well worth a visit

Last minute booking for an overnight stay. Very accommodating and friendly staff and as I arrived late they were kind enough to make a small meal for me without trouble. Lovely ,clean and comfortable room and one of the best full English breakfasts I’ve ever had. Nice bar areas and garden. Recommend for all.

We can’t thank the proprietor and his staff enough for the wonderful evening party, we were all made very welcome and although there were problems with power cuts and staff illnesses they came through with a superb meal. Thank you once again to all at The Hawkenbury.

Really friendly staff who made us and our dog very welcome! Lovely hot and freshly cooked pub grub in a clean, relaxed environment. We will definitely return if we stay in this area again.

We had my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party here and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Great venue, accommodating hosts and fantastic food. They even arranged the DJ for us who was fantastic. Everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you from all of us x

Drove past this public house and went in with no booking.The staff made room for one wheelchair user and three reduced mobility .nothing was too much trouble. Sunday lunch menu varied and reasonable price. Well presented and good portions would thoroughly recommend .also dog friendly in the main bar. Great setting you could not ask for more
