La Taberna in Maidstone

Very good food and nice ambiance. Freingdly staff.

Every dish is perfectly executed. Fried chilly has great texture, grill the squid is actually really tender. It just not much surprise flavor wise, but it’s probably because the items I ordered. I would like to come back and try more dishes.

This time have visit la taberna with my family from abroad. Very nice place looking like real Spanish place with aspects inside and outside. Staff very friendly and helpful. We order some starter plates for share and we was surprised of taste we was very happy to enjoy calamari, anchovies,serano ham sandwich and other side . Complimentary olive from la taberna . Gorgeous flavour and taste vould like to buy some take away if somewhere selling seriously recommended olive to try. Let's go for mane reason to come this place is Paella, was very nice severed in one big pan share to everyone on the table , for visual aspect when youborder Paella you always want get mussels with shell this was missing but its only personal opinion, let's go for taste smells nice and looking realy good till you not try it . We was disappointed paella was to salty rice bit to sticky. And last sangria jug bery flavourfull light and tasty wine .Apparently I don't even know can I recommend this place ? For Paella I would say I was taste a lot better once . I don't know other dishes I home they better then Paella. Thank you

I would highly recommend this lovely authentic Spanish tapas restaurant. We went as a party of 25 for a family birthday celebration. The food was amazing and plentiful ! The staff were lovely and couldn't be more helpful. We all had such a lovely time. Thank you so much to everyone for making it such a special time for us.

Just wow!!The food and staff here are truly amazing. I ate here 18 months ago when I was working in the area, and when I came back we made sure to go again. I was not disappointed at all, the Chicken and Chorizo Paella was the most delicious meal I have had in a very long time.

This is a really beautiful restaurant within an old building. Looks very grand on the inside. The food was perfection. The staff were very attentive and well mannered.

First time eating at this beautiful restaurant. Food is absolutely amazing, beautiful surroundings and such a lovely friendly family to look after you. Well worth visiting if you have never been. Will definitely be returning. Thank you La Taberna for making us all welcome.

Great food, staff are excellent ,family friendly

First return to new beautifulMostly superb.The food was well presented and rapidly delivered. Soda and lime was totally flat but otherwise my only other complaint was the occasional difficulty in getting a waitress in this not busy venue to actually serve us.All courses were delicious and well prepared. The desserts were delicious too, light and perfect accompaniments.

Very impressed with this restaurant. Tasty tapas in great surroundings. Lots of room with tables well spaced apart. All food is freshly cooked and very authentic. Fast, helpful and friendly service. Great to experiment by ordering a selection of dishes. I have yet to try the paella which must be ordered 3 hours in advance. Book early in the summer to secure a table which includes the option of outside seating.
