Where to begin?! MuMu hosted our wedding this year and it was absolute perfection! We were supposed to get married in March 2020, but due to the pandemic we had to cancel just days before. MuMu were amazing, despite everything that happened in the past two years, including them having a devastating fire, they always reassured us that they would honour our booking and make sure everything was just as planned for our big day even two years later.Whilst we were planning nothing was too much for Ishty the GM. He was always just a call or text away and happily met with us anytime to discuss and organise. Nothing was too much for him and he coped with not one but TWO stressed out brides!Rob the Head Chef was also brilliant, he met with us twice and created a bespoke vegan menu for our wedding day, He listened to what we wanted and delivered! Everyone commented on how lovely the food was.On the day our guests wanted for nothing and we were just blown away by the standards that the staff kept. If a knife was dropped it was replaced within seconds, if a glass was empty it was refilled. The most important and special mention must go to Harvey-Hugo, who went above and beyond in absolutely every aspect for the entire day and night of our wedding. Every time we worried about something he was there fixing the problem and easing our anxieties. His attention to detail was next to none. He ensured everything ran smoothly, everything happened at the right time and everyone was happy. And he did it all with such a charismatic manner that made everyone smile. He really made our day that little bit more special (if that's possible!).MuMu exceeded our expectations and we HIGHLY recommend this wonderfully beautiful venue and it's highly experienced team for any bespoke event.Thank you so much to all the staff at MuMu - we waited a long time for our special day and you made it perfect!

Had a meal with work colleagues here tonight and can not praise the service enough. Archie was excellent and a credit to your restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was brilliant. I would highly recommend.

We arrived this afternoon at the restaurant with high expectations and my 80 year old mother.Sadly, we left frozen and without our lunch.A rather sour server pointed out what was not available on the menu accompanied by a selection of excuses.Just about everything as the switch to the Christmas menu was imminent. A rush on fish, large party etc. In the meantime, the gentleman behind us informed us he’d been waiting an age for his order and was not happy. We were close to the main door and every time it opened we got an arctic blast of cold air on our backs.we and another party requested to be moved to the side of the restaurant away from the door only to find that we were then in the pathway of another draught from a side door. We persevered and went to place an order only to find additional unavailable items. Enough being enough we fled to Frederico’s around the corner. Dark to light!Add onI was contacted immediately after my review by the owners daughter and availed of the most heartfelt apology. As a result of the effort and speed to acknowledge my complaint and the genuine concern that things went wrong for my visit, I would most certainly go back. A testament, when things go wrong is the way a company responds. The response was immediate, genuine and thoughtful. What more can you ask?

Fantastic Friday evening enjoying Madame MuMu & Kitty Errington as part of the cabaret show.A bargain price at £30, my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 course meal and the room was full of laughter.Hands down the BEST fishcakes I have ever eaten

A restaurant like no other in Kent. Swing your pants as you enter the dimly lit stage show atmosphere that is Mu Mu’s restaurant. It feels like a piece of the New Orlean’s American pie.Speaking to its lovely, professional staff, they mention to me that the owner worked for the Rolling Stones as a stage director. How cool is that?Aside from its artistic, French-inspired decor and early 20th century swing music, the food is "simply amazing". Exciting, well presented and served well dressed; please come with a large appetite, the food portions are gargantuan. The out-of-the-oven small sourdough loaf is the best tasting bread this side of the channel tunnel.Food is served at a relaxed easy, pace. So please bring your slippers, a lorgnette and an appetite.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been! What an incredible atmosphere. Beautiful and exquisite dishes. Incredibly friendly customer service. It is my second time there and I have enjoyed it so much. It is certainly a hidden gem. I wish this restaurant could be the #1 in Kent because it certainly made me feel like it was. I want to give many thanks to Nathalie for being so welcoming and friendly!

Fantastic food at great prices for the size of meals. However, it is majorly let down by the abysmal service we had. There were more wait staff than there were tables and we still waited for an hour before we had to ask for a dessert menu.

Went there on Friday for a hen party. Brilliantly priced, worth every penny. The food was amazing and the acts was just a great! Madam Mu Mu was just so funny and I enjoyed every moment of the night. Definitely looking forward to coming back again!!
