Newnham Court Inn in Maidstone

Staying in the Orida hotel this pub 5 mins walk away, had 15 plus meals there in the last month. Everyone of them was first class a fast, professional and efficient service. Was a nice surprise to get this quality of food at very competitive prices. Will be going again several times as working in the area for another two weeks. Well done Newnham Court

Visited with 8 of us for our son’s 21st birthday. Had rung them to book and asked if it was okay to bring a cake which was fine. Service was mediocre. Dishes were passed along by us. After our starters myself and my husband asked for some cutlery for our mains. Waitress came and dumped a whole lot of cutlery and serviettes at the end of the table by me to save “reaching over everyone”. The duck breast had to be sent back by my husband twice as wasn’t anywhere near as described on the menu. Not chargrilled. Just the smallest bit of duck breast on a plate of cold salad. To be fair they did deduct the price of the duck breast meal and take money off and waitress brought out the birthday cake I had provided with plates etc. Really cold in there so had to wear my coat all the time. Won’t be going back. 2 stars because they tried but unfortunately a big fail.

We had an amazing time at Newnham Court Inn - Pub & Grill. Food was delicious. Service was exceptional. Our waitress Vivian was so lovely, very polite and always smiling.

Awful Food, the staff were friendly but that was the only nice thing. We had several starters to share, nachos were burnt. Luxury Mac and cheese was most likely a packet mix. And for mains I had a katsu curry which was bland but with spice and a hard and tough hunters chicken. Definitely a place to avoid.

Good quick polite service. Only down side, I had mixed grill and the chicken breast and pork chop were dry/overcooked. The breast should have been butterflied and cooked less. But whole experience was good.

Server Alex was friendly and patient as well as attentive. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals but the vegan menu is poor. Asian burger, Asian burger XL, Asian burger solo, Asian burger solo XL. ??? plus a salad and a beetroot steak. Ultimately that's a choice of 3 things. The menu also said they did vegan onion rings but they don't. On the whole, a nice evening. But you get what you pay for.Yes, remove the 4 basically same vegan options and replace with alternatives.

Me and some my friends went to eat here, after finally deciding to attend because always going past and saying one day I will have a meal here. Plenty of parking and would be good place for lunch or summer because you see more of it when there is plenty of light. Prices are reasonable and arrived on time, ordered a whiskey which tested the waiter a little as they don’t get too many orders of it compared to your beers etc. They reasonably friendly however, when I ask for a bill. How long should I be waiting for the employee to come back and let me pay. I have never understood this in hospitality, I’m not asking for the bill to look at it for x duration of time. I want to pay and do something else

Nice food though portion size was a little small for my liking. However it was cooked nicely and hot. The staff are a little abrupt, but they are still warm and welcoming. It's very clean, including the toilets (bonus) and recommend it for whoever is in the area. I must add that the roast beef dinner was big and did look delicious 😋. Must try next visit
