Patisserie Valerie - Maidstone in Maidstone

Service is shocking and they had no idea of their allergy information, asked if the Macaroons contain egg and they said they are fine as gluten free. Had to look on website to find they did have egg. Disgraceful.

Stunning place for any occasion while shopping the busy streets of Maidstone.In the picture we had the afternoon tea for 2 which cost £10:95. Certainly worth every penny. Great customer service. Outside seating as well.

I rarely post negative comments but one thing you expect from such a shop would be delicious cake and unfortunately it was stale today. I acknowledge that it was exchanged for another cake and they apologised but the replacement was not much better.

Excellent service, employees were very nice, but the food was so disappointing and over priced.My avocado on toast was tepid, watery, had a paper thin layer of avocado, salad was wilted and unseasoned, and it cost 8.25£!!!!

Okay so after having to wait 30 minutes for our chicken wrap it came and looked like half a wrap, definitely not worth £8. The traditional lemonade was literally water with lemon syrup and didn't taste like much. Don't recommend this place at all

Visited here on the 12th April, service was slow but friendly. We were told that some of the menu was not available due to a trainee chef being in situ. I ordered the salmon salad. At the time the salad looked and tasted ok, a bit oily and nothing special but ok. When we left I had a strange metalic taste in my mouth but thought it would pass. Within an hour and a half I was experiencing severe stomach cramps to the point I asked my friends to take me home. Once home I experienced several severe bouts of diarrhea. I spent the rest of the day/evening feeling sick, going hot and cold and in pain. Other people in the establishment that day had complained about their food. I won't be going back. I have messaged them twice with no response.

First time I've been to this shop where the staff were very attentive and the drinks and cakes were amazing whilst being very reasonable price. Would definitely visit this shop again.

When it's nice you do it twice. Had another treat at Patisserie Valerie but this time at Maidstone. The cheesecake was so good didn't get a chance to take a photo. Enjoyed it with hot chocolate.

The smashed avo eggs Florentine are a must try. Delicious (and very heavy) pancakes. Friendly staff. Cozy indoor setting.
