Had a lovely afternoon tea booked today for a special friends birthday , staff were very welcoming especially Harry who served us all afternoon . Would definitely go again .

My first visit, but not my last. It's a gem hidden well from the road view. It's much bigger inside than it looks from out the front. Just as well because it was very busy for a Wednesday lunchtime. This in no way affected the service; it was excellent. The food was very well cooked and good value for money.

Always a pleasure to come here. Great food, heated area outside and lite up beautifully. Quite a romantic feel too. Staff very welcoming and take time to help too. Love this establishment

Not that busy for a Sunday lunchtime but we had to wait to be seated, and then had to wait a long time for our order to be taken. Obviously not enough staff and a lot were wearing coats inside! Food was good, plenty of it but chef certainly over seasoned with the salt.

Excellent, A very friendly greeting on arrival, very accommodating Excellent staff member who took our order. Everybody in my party said how good the food looked and we all enjoyed our meals. We all thought the bill was very reasonable price considering the quality of the food. Well done to all.

Very friendly nice atmosphere all socially distant and safe. Very attentive staff couldn't do enough to help. Food was excellent and good value. Thanks everyone. Have a great Christmas see you all next year.

Popped out for lunch and found our original pub was shut….. Due to Covid we haven’t been to a pub in a very long time. We wore masks whilst walking in and out of the pub but other than staff no one else was which does surprise me!Pub was very clean, with hand sanitisers strategically placed around the public areas. Decorations were very festive, we observed a very excited little girl with her grandad posting a letter to Santa in their Christmas post box. It was not very busy (was a Monday) we were met at the door to be seated very quickly and were settled with drinks shortly after. We ordered food which took quite a while to arrive, our server was apologetic which we appreciated. The lunch was worth the wait, lovely fresh food, plenty of it which unfortunately was too much for me. Was a very pleasant, much needed relaxing lunch.

We booked a table for 10 and the staff were even kind enough to decorate the table for us. All of the food came out at the same time and it was piping hot. Everyone enjoyed their meals and there is a good selection of pub grub. We should have downloaded the app but we were able to order at the bar.

Really friendly and helpful staff who are allergy aware. Lovely relaxing environment that is actually clean unlike some places I have been recently. They also have a nice kids play area.

I liked that the pub decor didn't look too tired like several other local places. The staff were superb! So friendly and always available. The cocktails we had were nice. The only downside was indoors they either didn't have aircon or it didn't work which is not great on a hot british summer day, but those are rare.
