Nicole and the team at Curious Eatery catered our wedding. They were fabulous at crafting a menu that reflected our multicultural backgrounds and everything tasted fantastic. They were flexible to different dietary requirements ensuring that those guests still got something special. The only thing we’d say is it is worth speaking to them over the phone as their email admin is a bit chaotic but once you speak to them directly they are friendly and efficient. And on the day before and the day of our wedding they are hardworking, welcoming and friendly. If you want a special meal for a special day use them.Tom and Megan (Married at Sprivers June 2022)

The winter globes provide a unique culinary experience - a delicious multi course meal with your own selection of music and attentive staff. Well worth booking.

We had an eight course tasting menu which was delicious. The service was impeccable and we were wonderfully looked after by Sally and the team. A big thank you to them all for making my birthday celebration very special! Highly recommended!

Love this place so much. I have eaten here many times with my wife but i was fortunate to also photograph a wedding there just before xmas. It was perfect for a wedding - the decor is unique, quirky and compelling - there was so much i could do photo wise. The food is always always excellent and whether you are eating as a couple or celebrating a wedding you will not be disappointed.

Fab new menu, beautifully cooked and delicious food, friendly and helpful staff who were attentive but discreet. Did not feel rushed at all. Perfect celebratory meal. Particularly appreciated the thanks from all the staff as we left, including the chef. Will definitely revisit.

I'm not even sure where to start! Nicole and her team catered our very small wedding in October this year. They were simply outstanding. We knew the food was going to be amazing as we have eaten in the restaurant many times. The creativity of the chefs and the really friendly and professional team never fail to disappoint. The food at our wedding was no exception - it was outstanding. Such delicious flavours and a range of seasonal produce which looked beautiful and tasted amazing. Everyone was blown away. Not only was the food outstanding, the serving team were second to none. They made us feel so well looked after throughout the entire day. We had a slight wedding cake disaster on the day, (nothing to do with Curious Eatery) but the CE team really kindly stepped up for us and prepared a delicious alternative with the most minuscule amount of notice. We cannot thank you enough!!

It’s great.I have an issue with our rural lunch spots limiting themselves to panini’s, jacket potatoes and maybe a sausage roll so eating here is a breath of fresh air.The menu consists of (but not limited to); a kind of Vegan bliss bowl, venison cottage pie, awesomely large quiche (which most diners seemed to reach for that particular day) and the obligatory over priced burger, which was very good.So I took the burger which came with chunky chips seasoned to perfection and a very good homemade coleslaw. Yes at £13 quid it’s on the expensive side, you could eat a five guys, or even the Ivy for a similar price but it’s not a bad burger and the patty was great so I got over it.Other dishes were very reasonably priced in my opinion, I tried the venison which was cooked very well, as was the large quiche which was peppered in veg as well to really a meal out of it. Last item our group ate was the risotto balls (arancini) which really was top drawer with its xo sauce. I can’t stress how good the risotto balls are.If I really had to criticise the menu one vegan option in today’s world is not really fair but that’s digging deep to criticise. So yeah, eat here. I’ll be very surprised if you walk out disappointed. It’s very nicely decorated, Staff are friendly, the head chef made a point of sticking her head out as we left to say thanks. All these things make for a very pleasant experience.
