Going to be critical about this one, first of all the place looks nice, mostly clean as the staff is active, friendly, respectful and open to questions.Unfortunately the bathrooms were below average and even though the design of it is made in such a way to be classic, I consider the maintenance is not good enough. The food waiting time is one of the biggest aspects I want to mention, as me and my family were told that the food will be ready in 30, maximum 40 minutes and about an hour has passed and only then the food was on our table. It is not a fancy restaurant for the food to take that long, neither my own kitchen with only one chef. The taste was decent, could've been cooked the same at home, but accessible for its price, and I think this is the only factor that pushes Feathers up to 2 stars, despite the waiting time, which is commonly seen with other clients too.I was sadly disappointed by the photoshopping done to the food images on the menu. I understand that this is a marketing technique to make the product appealing to the client, but it still has to meet a minimum threshold of aspect similarity.

I wouldn't recommend, which is a shame as we've been many times before. Slow service, food was awful, left 3 quarters of our meals. As I was running late for a film, I didn't bother to complain.

45 mins wait for food ordered at the bar. Snooker being played rather noisy

Went for lunch today with my son & husband. The Feathers was very clean and the staff were welcoming, helpful, attentive and very friendly.Channell, our waitress, went above and beyond to make sure our meal was satisfactory and our experience was enjoyable. The food was hot and delicious! And the desserts .....we're absolutely to die for !Incredibly reasonably priced and good portion sizes. We'll definitely visit again and from our experience, would recommend the feathers as a great place to eat out.

Cheap and cheerful. Staff friendly. Food is good for the amount you pay for it. Place could do with a bit of clean but I would go back. Plenty of space and nice outside area. Overall a good place for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime.

Booked a table for father's day. When we arrived (to a restaurant that was less than half full) we were informed that though we would be seated straight away it would be a minimum of an hour wait for food. With a restaurant that empty I just can't understand how it would have taken so long to be able to get the food out!Definitely will not be returning here again

Great value here. Pie & mash was really good. Nice staff. And the fastest barman I've ever seen!

Lovely outside area, very picturesque. Inside is a typical greeneking, very samey and unwelcoming. It's a shame as outside is lovely

Booked an early table for 5 an small child, after 1.5hrs food finally arrived , waited another three quarters hour main course turned up, minus one meal told hadn't been booked. 2 senior meals wrongly charged, ( 3 courses should have been £6.50, were charged £ 12 each meal). Dips that were supposed to be included we were charged for. Kept asking for our receipt, finally given it as we left. Staff were clearing our table whilst people were still eating. Certainly not a recommendation.

Booked a table for 7pm on Saturday evening to celebrate my daughters 7th birthday. Quick to be seated and food was ordered at 7:40 and at 8:15 was told food had not been started and would be another hour! Refund issued, should have gone McDonald's!
