Great pub - lovely atmosphere - good beer and food

My husband main course was very good (fish pie). My hamburger dry, nothing special. My children got hamburger and fish finger (1 only in the main course longer than a normal one, double the size). My son's hamburger was dry as mine. Drinks (gin) were good although they got confused about which one was what. The service has been slow. We requested the dessert menu but we left before getting it because it was taking too long.

brilliant service staff are friendly little bit over price for what you get, not a lot off side option but the food taste amazing.. Also love the fact that you can't smoke outside which is really nice πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

Fantastic take-away food during Covid restrictions. Really pleasant staff member took order over the phone and the food was ready exactly on time. Food was absolutely amazing with great portions. Would recommend to anyone.

This is a great little pub with lovely bar staff and waitresses, very friendly and helpful. The place is well frequented and has a great atmosphere and ambiance...... had Sunday roasts (lamb and rib eye of beef) that were the best pub roast we've had in ages. EVERYTHING was delicious and perfect especially the cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and gravy I wish I could emulate. Good selection of beers, house white wine was delicious and everything at fair prices. Can't fault the Fox and Goose. Thoroughly recommend.

The standard of pub food in Bearsted in exemplary. Unfortunately, the Fox & Goose has to live in the shadow of its more established siblings. It is by all accounts and nice pub, but lacks the character of the likes of Oak on the Green.Service is enthusiastic, humble, accommodating and caring. It does need more attention and lacks the professionalism and Precision of its siblings. It took a while for the food to arrive, but it was quality homemade food. The king prawn and crayfish vermicelli dish was my pick of the dishes. An Asian inspired dish packing bags of flavour from the sesame seed oils and spices. Delicious. The homemade pie was crumbly, and those boiled potatoes were melt in the mouth soft and flavoursome.Quality food, service needs tweaking, warm comfortable surroundings.

Brill Restaurant. I liked the burgers, delicious and nutritious πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰. Staff is really friendly. Quiet atmosphere, but great place. Big quantities, BE HUNGRY, when you come.
